Happy Living is a blessing in every sense of that word. Tabita and Ben and the whole team fill the house with love and care. They are simply the best care-givers we could wish for. They make possible a life for my mother that allows her dignity, humor, comfort, and grace. We will be forever grateful to them, and your loved ones would be lucky to have them in their lives as well. If I could hug them by typing words, this would be that hug. A few points: My mother’s room has always been clean as a whistle, along with the bathrooms. She has serious bodily needs and hygiene is important. All the carers working there are respectful, too. Tabita makes a point of sitting with her and helping her eat, too; there is no question that my mother would have died without this level of attention. She does this all while keeping a great group atmosphere for the folks there. Too, the atmosphere of the house is one of love, with cheerful touches—flowers on the dining room table, and comfy chairs, sofas, and cushions. My family and I will never be able to thank Tabita and Ben enough. They are incredible human beings, and Happy Living is a testament to the human capacity for love. Thank you.

My uncle moved into Happy Living Care Home, and I could not be happier. He’s out of the wheelchair, he’s walking with just a cane, and he really can do without a cane. He’s gaining strength, and he looks great. The place is always spotless, it’s a small facility, so it’s really friendly, in a home setting, and the people who run it are awesome. They have dinner and prayer time together, they watch movies and TV, and they have dogs that are in the courtyard. He’s doing remarkably well. He has his own private room, and they have a family-style dining room. The meals that I’ve seen are very good and healthy.

Happy Living Care Home has been quite nice. The people are lovely, caring, and loving. They cook three meals a day. They have a wonderful backyard where the residents can go with squirrels and oak trees. It's just very pleasant. The residents have their own room and most of them have a separate bathroom, but in my husband's case he shares it with another person. It has a very nice atmosphere. They play some games, like card and board games. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. The food is good and my husband likes it. It's worth every penny for what they do, so I think it's very reasonable. Every time I've been in there, it’s always absolutely spic and span. It's very clean and roomy. They have a very large dining table and they encourage all the residents to come out and dine together, which is important because it's a family atmosphere.

From the moment I met the facility owners and staff, I knew this was the place for Jim. He has his own room and since he loves to be outdoors, they have a beautiful backyard that the residents can enjoy. While there on many occasions, the meals smelled and looked delicious. They encourage family interaction. Feedback from my husband has been nothing but good; from how well he is treated to the meals he receives (three a day). The facility makes a sincere effort to keep me apprised of his condition on a regular basis. I would recommend this home to everyone wanting a caring and home-like atmosphere, rather than a 'medicinal' environment.

What an amazing place. We are looking at this for my mother and have spoken with several of the residents, family members as well as the owners. The families say their family member has only gotten better while staying here. They truly love their residents.
