I cannot say enough good things about Franklin Park. We had a rather unpleasant experience at another facility and I was having a great deal of anxiety about finding a new home for Mom. When I toured the facility, it felt like a community not a facility. The care my Mom has received is exemplary and the welcoming from staff and residents is refreshing. Mom has finally found a HOME where everyone cares for her and for US. I no longer worry about her while I am working. The food is great. The building and rooms are kept very clean. There are plenty of activities to keep Mom engaged. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have a hair salon right there on property. I no longer have to take off work to take Mom to the hair salon. There is a doctor, dentist and podiatrist available on property, SO CONVENIENT. When Mom needs help at any time of the day or night, someone is there for her. If you are struggling to care for you loved one and need a helping hand, Franklin Park is there for you! The best part, Mom tells me how much she loves it at Franklin Park and she is smiling!

When we moved our loved one in, we were told they could handle bathroom needs. Their response time is 30 minutes which is unacceptable. Furthermore, she had a medical condition that wasn't addressed with the doctor for 3 days. Franklin Park may be fine for someone that is able to get up and assist themselves but definitely not for someone that needs help.

We were able to visit the Franklin Park Boerne for my mother-in-law. It was super nice and we liked that, but it would feel too fancy for her. We didn't like that it was so huge with super long halls. The people were nice and helpful, it's a beautiful place, just not her personality. My impression of the staff was good. We went by the dining room on the way to look at one of the rooms, the place itself was very palatial. The room we saw was adequate, but my mother-in-law would feel a little bit confined there. The place was nice and clean.

I was able to tour Franklin Park Boerne, it's the one I like the most. When I was planning to bring my father, they were going to offer me to sample a meal. The offer was extended to when I would bring my father back to look. The staff that gave the tour was excellent. She had only been in her role for a week, and she gave a great tour and had answers to all of my questions. She was very personable, very friendly, and wanted to know all that I could tell her about my dad. She seemed to have a genuine interest in my father. I liked their location. The senior center for the town is literally across the street. If my father wanted to go over there, it would be very easy for him. It's totally within walking distance. They seem to have a more active groups there. They had a workout room. They had activities posted, and I could see what they would be doing from a schedule. The front staff was very courteous. I saw other people that came in. They were greeted when they walked into the door, while I was waiting for my appointment. They were excellent.

Franklin Park Boerne was very nice. The building was well kept and very clean. They had a lot of amenities and different programs. They had game rooms, a bingo hall, very nice kitchen facilities and dining room, a computer room, and nice outside porch areas for sitting. The staff was very nice.

I've been to Franklin Park Boerne visiting a friend from church. I was very impressed with it. It's a beautiful place. We went into their apartment, which was very nice. We also ate in the dining room, which was very nice. Everything was very nice about that place. I would love to have my aunt there, but it's too expensive for us. The food was very good. They had transportation to go to different places during the week, and I'm sure they had activities going on in the place as well because of the kind of place it was. Someone would come in to give them their meds or check on them or help with the bath and they were very nice. In comparison to other less expensive places, their quality is so much better. Value for the money is good.

My mom was at Franklin Park Boerne for about five weeks. They had a lot of really good things. Their activities were wonderful, the food was great, and most of their staff was really good. The really big downside was that they had no place for the assisted living residents to go outdoors on their own. That's where the problem came in, as my mom walked out a door that locked behind her because she just wanted to go outside. Then they wanted to put her into memory care, which she absolutely hated, and so that's why we had to move her. When my mom was in there, she was in assisted living, and she actually really loved it, but because she had walked out the door a couple of times, they considered her a flight risk. They said they were going to put her in a lockdown facility in memory care, and that was just not acceptable for me or for my mom. They had lots of amenities. They had all kinds of things. They had outings, they had an exercise room, and they had activities at least three or four times a day. That was the really good part about it, and that's the part that I miss for her in the place where she is now. You could tell that some of the staff were working there just because it was a job, but there were several of them who were fabulous; you could tell they adored the people and really cared for them. The food was really good. You could choose from a menu. If you decided you wanted a hamburger, they'd make you a hamburger. My mom could eat any breakfast that she wanted, so that part was really nice.

We visited the memory care at Franklin Park Boerne. It's a beautiful place. It's very well maintained and very clean. The staff seems to be very friendly. When we went in, they were there in the main area, and there was a visiting musician there. It was just a very lovely atmosphere in the place. We didn't really get involved in everything, but I know that they have a lot of activities going on in the memory care unit. We did see a group playing bingo. There were quite a few staff for the number of residents, and the ratio was very high at that particular event. They have a schedule of activities on the wall that listed what would be going on in the memory care unit, and there seemed to be a good amount of activities going on for them. We also met the director of the memory care section. We felt like they were very well maintained, and it was a very impressive facility. Everyone we connected with was very knowledgeable and very friendly.

I went to Franklin Park Boerne. It was very clean, they had a social there, we inquired for assisted living, and their facility had way more women than men. It's a beautiful place for single women, with very few men. We could get one bedroom and they would take the two dogs. It was $5,000 for him, another $1,000 for me, and another $500 for the dogs. It was gonna be over $6,000 for one room, and I thought we needed a little apartment, not a room. We can't be in room 24/7, but I thought that was highly expensive for what they were offering. They had all these little sheep running around on the patio. Like I said, there was a social, they had music, and their food was very good, but for the crowd that they had, it was inadequate. They didn't have enough food. The staff that we spoke to was very aggressive, and they're trying to draw in people. The other thing is they were serving alcohol, there was a wine tasting, and you could get beer or a cocktail. I thought that was a little off for senior living, a little too high brow for Boerne.

I took a tour of Franklin Park and was thoroughly impressed. The staff was very attentive and I was informed on how the entire process worked. I was really impressed with how clean the facilities were along with the staff who seemed to have great relationships with the residents. A+ facility for sure!

Franklin Park was clean. You could see residents doing various things. The rooms looked nice, and the staff was professional. It was larger, and had a more institutional feel than the other place I went to. They had a barber shop and do field trips.

Franklin Park Boerne was very nice and very friendly. They had a courtyard where Mom could walk outside, but you pay extra for the room that had the courtyard view. You also pay extra for the incontinent care and they would furnish all the supplies. The rooms were private with private baths and were very clean. They had activities like mind stimulation where they try to get them to remember certain things. The staff was very interactive with the residents. There was a mixture of assisted living and dementia residents, and the dining rooms were combined. They seemed to be doing a good job. The building looked brand new, very well maintained, and did not have a smell. Everything was sanitary and looked in good shape.

The other place I looked at that I really liked was Franklin Park Boerne. It was very nice but they did not have the continuation of care that started off with the independent living. They only have the memory care and assisted living units. One thing I did like with this place is that they did have private bathrooms. They seemed to have lots of activities. When going on a tour, they showed me their plans and their activities that they had. They had a good presentation as far as that goes. I liked the staff a lot. They seemed very welcoming and very knowledgeable. I saw more interactions with the staff and the residents than I did at the other community.

We liked the Franklin Park Boerne a lot, but it was pretty far out of San Antonio and my friend wanted to be in San Antonio. Also, it was $1,300 a month more than where she is now. My impression of the place was positive. The staff and the people we met were very kind and very nice. The rooms were a little smaller, but they were very nice and pretty new. The activities that they described were impressive as well. They said they would supply a ping pong table if my friend would move there and I felt they were accommodating. The dining room was very nice. I didn't have any interaction with the staff except for the tour guide and she was very good.

My mom was the first resident of Franklin Park... She loves it there! Thank you to all the staff for the love and compassion they have for our seniors.
