The one bedroom apartments are quite spacious and the showers in the bathroom are quite large, along with the washer and dryer closet. The open living room and kitchen area is quite serviceable, kitchen having built in appliances and granite countertops, wood floors. It’s great!!

I've been to Springwood At Allen a couple of times to visit and I like it. It's a single story so that was good, my dad didn't have to go upstairs or anything. They have single cottages that are separate entities, and he could have his own place. He doesn't have to go into an apartment atmosphere, so I like that. I haven't tried the food but their menu was good too. They had different types of menus and you could also cook in your own place. This place had more independent cooking, so you brought your own meals in your apartment, which is the way that place works. That way, you won't have to worry about paying for food. The employees were pretty good, I met a couple of them and thought they were nice people. They answered all my questions and seemed pretty pleasant to talk to.

I went to Springwood at Allen. I asked them what their rent was, and I saw the places, and the places were fine. It's a nice facility. It has only a single story, so you don't have above or below neighbors. That's the good part, and I like it because it was gated, and that felt safer. They only extend one year lease. I asked her, "OK, so last year, what did you up your rent to?" And she said they were up to $100 last year, and so I kind of froze at that. It's like, ok, am I going to have to find another place to live in a year or two? The staff answered all my questions. It looks perfectly fine, and the only reason that I am upset is because of the lease terms.
