My impression of Covenant Place of Abilene is very good. Right now it's one of the places that's at the top of our list. They offer help with transportation, lots of meal options and room meal services, there are planned field trips to the malls or grocery stores. The apartment I saw was very nice, clean, and well-taken care of. The lady who gave the tour was very helpful and very personable.

Covenant Place of Abilene was really nice and was very well laid out. My aunt wanders and the only secure thing that they had was these little detectors that they put on like a watch and if they go out to a door, it would ring or sound an alarm. They had a monitoring system to where you can't go through a door unless they look and see who actually is going through that door. The dining area wasn't as elegant as the others, but it was very nice. The people we talked to were very nice and answered all of our questions. They had different activities and at that time, they were going to take them around shopping. They also had crafts.

I recommended that my friend pick Covenant Place of Abilene out of the three places we went. The only complaint I had was the floor was sticky. The nurse on duty showed us around and answered all our questions and was very thorough. We're absolutely happy with that. The dining room looked inviting. Other than a couple of ladies sitting in the lounge area talking, everyone else was in their rooms. It wasn't perfect, but it was definitely the best of the ones that we saw. The staff was very efficient.

I visited a friend that recently moved to this center, and was pleasantly surprised by the overall nice setting. The rooms were very spacious, and the center was cozy and quaint while offering modern amenities.

We had a very good visit at Covenant Place. They had a lot of activities, like exercise classes and movies, and groups would come in. They all took the residents out. On most days, they had more than one thing going on. It was very homey. They had a big lobby that was welcoming when you first came in, and the people who worked in front and would be greeting the people were very often friendly. The lady I talked to was very nice and friendly in showing me around. We looked at a sample apartment, and it was furnished. It was nice. They had a nice big dining room, and the tables had actual tablecloths.
