My mom has lived at the BeeHive for 1 1/2 years. We like that it is a smaller and newer facility. The Administrator & Assistant Administrator are great. They keep in touch and always a text or phone call away. There are some core caregivers that are great, also. The only reason I would not give the BH 5 stars is that there is a lot of turnover with caregivers. And I do wish there were more weekly activities, other than Bingo. The food is very good. My mom has some dietary issues and they try to accommodate her.

I cannot express the depth of the love, care and compassion that the staff of Beehive give not only my mother but to all of the residents. In dealing with 5 different Care facilities in the last 8 years I can truly say that none come close to what the Beehive has offered. My mother had been in her home for 62 yrs in a small community full of friends. I was very worried about her acceptance when the time came to have her in assisted living. The 1st three things Momma said within 30 minutes of arrival was "this is nice", "it's really quiet" and " it smells really nice here...it's really clean". After 2 days she was saying how good the food is...which my mother has always been an excellent cook so that was the ultimate compliment! When it comes time to make the decision for your loved one's...and it is a troubling and scary time, please see if the Beehive is an option for you and I can only hope you have the experience that we have had with this wonderful home! From the 1st week I have always said we were truly Blessed in finding such a gem and the beautiful people that show so much care for my loved ones!

My mom has lived here for over two years. I feel like my mom has been well cared for at the Beehive. I like the fact that it is a smaller facility.

The Director and Assistant Director are very personable, efficient and professional. There is always a pleasant atmosphere with the staff and residents. I never question that my mother is well taken care of and in good hands. I highly recommend Beehive Homes of Abilene.

My brother-in-law will be moving into BeeHive Homes of Abilene. What I like the most is that it is a small facility. It has only 16 beds. It's very homelike. I like the way the kitchen was open for the residents to just see somebody milling around in the kitchen cooking. The rooms were not as large as I would've liked. The staff was wonderful.

My visit to BeeHive Homes of Abilene was very positive. The dining area was very clean, I liked that the kitchen was open where the residents could see in. They were careful to have snacks out throughout the day for the residents. It's very family style. The rooms were OK. They did not have a kitchenette and the closet space was very small, too small for what we needed. The staff told me all about their schedule throughout the day, what the policy was with people coming to visit, their offers, and things they did for the clients. It was very thorough.

This is a new assisted facility out by Sam's Club in Abilene, TX. It is a very nice place that we found for our mother. Kathi the coordinator and the nurse Monica are awesome and the staff are always welcoming and kind to everyone, they always are there for my mother in whatever she may need. My mother loves this place and her room is very roomy and bathroom as well. She was needing 24 hr care and the staff is excellent in helping her with her needs. Mother always comments how well they take of her. She loves interacting with the residents. It is a smaller place than some we looked at but it's perfect for her and very nice and clean. They have about 17 rooms and right now they have about 5 residents there. My mother loves the activities and her hair and nails done. They offer 3 meals a day which is delicious by the way and they have a nice dining room, and its always bright and open. They have a living area where they can have movie night. A salon where they do their hair and nails. And an outside patio with a firepit where they can go outside and visit or eat or just enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely recommend the Beehive Assisted Living.
