I visited this facility

My father has lived at this facility for 2 yrs. he suffered a quadruple by pass surgery. He needed assistance. after rehab. He is not the most easiest person to get alone w/. The staff and owner has done a great job working with him. You can't make someone do their therapy, (like anything you have to have a will. ) i spent an entire month every day with him encouraging him to make himself stronger in therapy -before he moved to EFC. People do not understand how hard it is to work with gr...

This is not a fancy place and don't let the older building/furnishings fool you! The staff is beyond awesome! My sister is ALWAYS clean and so is the facility! VERY IMPRESSED!

When you have a family member that has smoked since they were 15 and failed to save $$$ for their final years of life, you are faced with the difficult task of finding a facility they can afford and one that will allow them to smoke. Thank God for Extended Family Care in Manchester, Tn!!! No, it'a not the Ritz, but Rose and her staff have a heart for their patients which far exceeds the decor and surroundings. The patients and staff become a big family and carry each other's joys and sorrows ...

This place is HORRIBLE. My grandmother has been there since March and at first we thought it was a great place for her. With caring staff and great care but recently there has been staff changes and it has gotten HORRIBLE. There under staffed. They have janitors doing jobs that are meant for CNA'S. They give them cereal for breakfast, orange kool-aid as juice, lots of days there supper is a sandwich. New nurse almost gave my grandmother someone else medicine. Thank God she knew that wasn't her's...

No dietitian, feed very small portion meals given kool-aid instead of juice or milk, Encourage clients to smoke, which they are charged for.. Teaches them to use a wheelchair instead of giving them physical therapy or occupational therapy .

I am a friend or relative of resident

This is the worse place I have ever visited. I can not wait to get my friend out. For lunch a piece of meat loaf, a spoon of peas and a glass of kool-aid. Teaching my friend to use a wheelchair verses physical therapy. This is not a good place for anyone that has any medical or physical needs.
