My mom is at Brookdale Tullahoma, and it has everything she -- or anyone -- needs. They take care of her cooking, they clean her bathroom, and they wash her clothes. The staff was great. They're all nice and treat everybody the same. If mom needs anything, they call me, and I get it to her. She has a small room, but it's spacious, and it's all she needs for her bed and TV. Plus she has her own private bathroom where she can take a shower, and if she needs help, she just pushes the button, and they come in and help her with whatever she needs. The food is really good. They have two chefs employed there, so they make sure that everybody gets what they need to eat, and more importantly, what they want to eat. They have a nice courtyard where they can get out and walk around. They also have benches where they can sit and rest, and little areas in their courtyard where the residents can plant a little garden if they want to. If they want to have bird feeders or chimes, the staff will hang them outside their windows so they can see them.

I toured Brookdale Tullahoma. They showed me the rooms which were nice and the restaurant part which was also nice. The nurses and everyone who worked there told me exactly what they could do and how they could help my wife, and it was excellent. The dining area looked like a regular restaurant, it's very nice.

Brookdale Tullahoma seemed like a good place. They're very friendly. They had exactly what I needed. The price was pretty good. The place was nice and clean. They had a common area where they also had activities and things like that. They were good. They have an activity schedule. They have something pretty much every day. They've got an eating portion in the place where you can eat and dine and stuff. The people that were living there seemed to be pretty happy about it. The dining area looked good. I got to see the menu and stuff. They have choices and things.

We liked Brookdale Tullahoma because of its overall situation being nearby. It's a nice place. It was very clean. The apartments were small, but they're efficient and seemed to be accommodating.

Brookdale Tullahoma was a wonderful facility. It was nice, very well laid out, and thought out. The best part was, as we were touring the facility, the staff greeted the residents by name. It was very apparent that they knew their residents and they didn't just walk by. They were friendly and engaging. They had a self-contained courtyard that was very well maintained and utilized for parties and gatherings. They had an exercise room, an activities room, and a nice library. They had lots of different common areas, some large and some kind of more intimate for families.

Brookdale Tullahoma was very warm, inviting, and pleasant. Everybody was very helpful, cheerful, and polite. The person who toured me was very, very nice, very knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. She gave us a nice tour of the place and gave me a little gift bag regardless, and I even offered to take it back. She was very, very nice and she told me that if we could not get my friend in there, she would help me find a place for him. The dining area was great. It looked like a nice restaurant. The little apartments were very nice, roomy, had their own controls for air conditioning, had a little kitchenette and stuff. It was nice. They do outings, they had an art room and a lady that takes care of doing crafts and things like that, and music. Somebody was playing the piano whenever I went in there and they were all sitting around in concerts and stuff. It was nice. Just high-class facilities.

Brookdale Tullahoma was lovely -- the staff, the facilities, the menu, and all of that -- but Tullahoma is very far from my mother's house. Given a choice, she would choose to go somewhere closer to her home. They were having Bible study in one of the activity rooms. Before we left, it was lunchtime, so people were going to the dining room for lunch, and the nurse was getting out medication for people who had to take it at lunchtime. The rooms were very nice, and they had plenty of emergency buttons: one over the bed, one in the shower, and one in the living area. The menu looked very attractive. It was my favorite overall, but it wasn't my mother's. The facility was lovely. They had a beautifully landscaped courtyard that everyone's patio faced and bird feeders and that kind of thing to attract wildlife. Their food had a lot of variety. They had a regular daily menu if you didn't want any of the specials that day. You can also have them bring you snacks to your room.

Brookdale Tullahoma was nice but it was too far away to travel back and forth to visit. The rooms were nice but they seemed like they were a little bit smaller than the other places that I had visited. The staff was real friendly, nice and helpful. We stayed and ate lunch with them and the food was real good.

My family left it up to me to put my grandmother in an assisted living facility for cooked meals, medication reminders, clean house, etc. My grandmother lived about 30 minutes away from this facility. The administrator and the Director of Nursing BOTH gave me the initial tour. I was so impressed with the knowledge of the staff, professionalism of all the staff (even the maintainence staff ), and all of the activities that were offered there daily that I signed papers that day. Since my grandmother moved in, they went under new ownership but still kept the same management. The chef prepares each meal from scratch, and each meal is incredibly delicious. I haven't been to a more wonderful facility. My grandmother has been there for almost 3 years now and she absolutely loves it!
