What a blessing Bailey Manor in Hixson is to our family! Each person at this sweet place is so kind, caring, and dedicated in supporting each patient and their families. From the Director of Nursing, and every member of the team, we are immensely and forever appreciative of all you have done and are doing during this stage in life. Not only do they take the time to make sure each resident is thriving the best they can in their own journey with dementia, they make sure to help each resident and their family find the resources and support they need. The smaller atmosphere is so welcoming, clean, and purposeful, and every single caregiver is there because they have a heart for service. We are so fortunate and beyond grateful to have become a part of the Bailey Manor in Hixson family.

My wife moved to Bailey Manor - Chattanooga/Hixson. The care is really good. The staffing is great. The food is adequate but it's not great. The selection is very limited. My wife has to have a soft diet and I have to keep on following up on that to make sure that she gets a soft diet. They're very receptive to my requests but don't always follow through with the kitchen people. They're trying but there's still a gap. The hallways are very good. The rooms are more than adequate. The facility itself has a dining area and a large common area with two large-screen TVs, which is very good. All the staff are CNAs and are trained to work with mentally challenged people, so they know how to take care of people with dementia and Alzheimer's. They anticipate and they don't get angry when somebody calls them names or kicks in or whatever. They have activities for the people, exercises, and games.

My family and I have recently experienced the immense relief and gratitude of finding Bailey Manor in Hixson, TN. Still, Bailey Manor has been nothing short of a lifesaver for my beloved father-in-law, who battled advanced dementia. It’s important to highlight the stark contrast between our previous experience and the care we found at Bailey Manor. When our father-in-law was abruptly kicked out of the previous facility he had called home for several years, we felt blindsided and attacked. From the very beginning and throughout our entire experience - our interactions with Bailey Manor’s staff were infused with kindness, empathy, and understanding, which was a stark departure from the treatment we had previously endured. My father-in-law’s condition had deteriorated to the point where he had aggressive behaviors and other dementia-related challenges. It was crucial for us to find a place that would not only accept him but also provide the appropriate level of care. Bailey Manor, under the leadership of Cheryl and her dedicated team, not only welcomed him with open arms but also expressed a deep understanding of his struggles. They assured us that challenging behaviors were not uncommon and emphasized that every individual’s needs are unique in memory care. They were willing to tailor their approach to his specific needs, offering us hope and relief that we had not experienced before. The facility itself is also a testament to their commitment to excellence. It is consistently clean and always smells good. Each time we visited, his room was clean and fresh. His bed was made, and his clothing was washed and hung up. The fully furnished room was an added convenience. Communication was another strong suit of the staff at Bailey Manor; they kept us well-informed, updating us on every aspect of our loved one’s care, including medication changes and any other relevant developments. Our experience with Bailey Manor has been overwhelmingly positive. If you find yourself searching for a memory care facility that prioritizes compassion, individualized care, cleanliness, and clear communication, Bailey Manor is an excellent choice. Cheryl and her team have made a significant difference in our lives, and we are immensely grateful for their unwavering commitment to caring for our family member during a very challenging time.

My father moved into Bailey Manor - Chattanooga/Hixson. I've been very pleased with it. The staff has been good to my father, and they've been good to my mother and to the extended family, as well. My father is always clean. His room is always very neat and tidy. Every time I go there, the bed is made even though my father is laying in it. If he is not in his recliner, he is in the living room. The blanket we have for him is always folded. He loves the food there. They have activities every Wednesday and Friday. He may not participate in all of them, but they have bingo and wine and cheese.

My mom is going to Bailey Manor - Chattanooga/Hixson. It's brand new, so everything is just beautiful. The staff is very compassionate. The food is wonderful. The ratio of staff to residents is going to be phenomenal because it's just a 33-bed facility. Right now, I think they're at about half capacity. It has a salon in it, and they're going to have a podiatrist come in. From the moment I walked in the door, everything about them I liked. The staff members are wonderful, very welcoming, very informative, and very compassionate. I watched their interaction with other residents there. I just liked everything I saw. I was there while they were serving the food and it smelled and looked wonderful. The dining area is beautiful, spacious, very homey feel and not a clinical kind of feel.
