My dad is in Signal Mountain Senior Living's memory care. It's very clean and the lady there is very sweet. She informed me of everything. It seems to be a good community for my dad and they're taking very good care of him. The food is not great but it's okay.

I like everything about Signal Mountain Senior Living. The only thing I don't like is the rent was way too high. The place was clean, neat, and taken care of.

We toured Signal Mountain Senior Living. It was just a very good atmosphere with a lot of activities. It's clean and roomy, up-to-date on their style stuff. Everything was nice and neat. They're in the process of updating everything.

The food has continually gotten so much better. It’s flavorful and the portions are good. From the receptionist to nursing staff and aides, my family has been very pleased. As with any path that you have as a resident there are bumps in the road but everyone tries to make things better in every way they can. They are growing here and sure hope they keep growing and always striving for excellence. Everyone’s situations and needs are different but for my family we have been treated with respect and cared for as best as possible. God bless SMSL for being there for us.

My husband moved into Signal Mountain Senior Living about a month ago. He started in assisted living and he spent about a week there, and then they realized that he would do better if he were in memory care. And so they were very quick to let me know that and to explain why he wasn't doing so well in the assisted living, that he needed a little bit more care. And they were very upfront about that. I appreciate that. And so then when he got into memory care, I was very pleased with the facility. They watch out for him. They take care of him. He's had some medical issues and they have contacted me immediately to let me know. He had a couple of falls and they contacted me right away to let me know. They've also called to get input. They had some problems getting him to take his medication. They would call and ask me for advice or just let me know. So they're very good at communicating and I have nothing, but great things to say about them. They've just been a really good place for my husband. Like I said, he was in two different places. Both rooms were very nice. Very clean. I have no complaints at all about that. There are lots of activities. My husband was not one to want to go into activities, but they tried to. For example, they would not insist, but they would want him to leave his room to come to the dining area to eat. If it was up to him, he would just stay in his room and eat in his room. And so that's one thing that I appreciate that they understand how some people will want to just kind of withdraw. They wouldn't let that. They wouldn't allow that. They would insist that they come to the dining hall. And even though he wasn't talking to anybody, at least he'd be surrounded by people. And I appreciated that. So that's one thing I noticed.

I was at Signal Mountain Senior Living yesterday to see my sister. The meals are fantastic. They provide three meals a day. The staff members all seem to be very kind to my sister. The food is delicious. Once in a while, there will be a little something that my sister doesn't care for, but they always have options. She can get a chicken salad or something like that. The cleanliness is great. They are under construction, though. They're doing a lot of remodeling, and that's the only downfall to the place right now. Nevertheless, the activities are great. My sister has done bingo and chair exercises. They offer a lot of different things, and they go on outings. It's great. When I stepped into the community, I felt the friendliness of the place. And the rooms are great, too.

I went to Signal Mountain Senior Living. It was a wonderful facility. It was beautiful and they had a lot to offer. Price-wise, it was a little bit out of our budget. That was the only holdback that I had. But other than that, the facility and the people there were amazing. They were even in the process of renovating and updating some things, but everything was very clean. You could tell that the facility itself was older, but it was so well-kept that it just blended in with where it was, at the base of the mountain. So, it was nice. The staff was a lovely, lovely person. She is very informative. She cared about her job, the facility, and the people in it.

My aunt is staying at Signal Mountain Senior Living. She's happy there. She's met people. It's clean. They have lots of activities for them. They go on an excursion a couple of times a month. They take them on field trips and have different activities, like bingo, cards, and movie nights. They have flower arranging and different games and puzzles. They have live entertainment come in for them once in a while. They celebrate all the holidays. They have special dinners for different holidays and food festivals. The staff was very patient, fun, and accommodating. The food is good. They do have a salon, but they have a hard time keeping somebody working in the salon so that could use a little work. They have a physical therapy room, a library, and a movie room. They have a dining room and a beautiful area in the lobby where you can sit and visit.

Signal Mountain Senior Living was lovely. I loved it and I would give it top-notch ratings. The people were friendly. The rooms were very nice and clean. They were helpful, and it seemed like the meals were good. The staff was excellent. They had a lobby with a pretty fireplace. I saw the actual rooms, and they were clean and they had a full kitchen. If you chose a studio, it had a balcony. Those were things I was impressed with. Most of all, it was clean and it smelled nice.

Looks good and nice facility, but managed poorly. They were bought out by another company and this didn't help, but seemed to make things worse. The staff overall are kind and nice. Some really care. But the administration overall are hard to get to communicate with you, they say they will call you back, but they rarely do. We had a problem with being overcharged the whole time of our stay with them. My family member was content with what services they received, but they didn't need much care, except just medications and housekeeping. I gave more than several months to resolve the over charges, but they couldn't resolve them, nor tell me what they were doing to fix these problems. Billing kept blaming central office, not solving the issue. I am not the type to leave a bad review but their lack of consistent communication billing problems was too bad to overlook. If you want somewhere you can trust to have them follow through with what they say they will do, then this place won't provide this for you. Look elsewhere.

The are a good size. The problem is they never clean them. I've reported, to the director of nursing, dirty and sticky floors, total with black mold, siper webs in windows (in side) poop on toilet... RAs are, for the most part, are nice bit management is not. They could care less for the residents. There are no activities, nothing to keep the residents moving and happy. No Amenitites that I saw.
