I'm a patient I say 3 days and left. This place is uncleanly and uncaring. I would not bring my dog hair. The only place is the food. The staff yells at the residence and they get in trouble for assisting other residents, holding the door over too long, and more. The staff yells at people that are upset or agitated and picks at them. They are very rude. This is not awake around the clock care, one second shift employee sit there and fall asleep on the couch. It is not handicap accessible. Wheelchair does not fit through the bathroom door. The door is jammed and unable to be open by somebody who's not strong., The showers are moldy, the shower chairs are moldy. The floors are filthy. There is urine and feces on the chair where people have had accidents and they've not been cleaned. Some residents walk around and soaking wet pull up. DO NOTI REPEAT DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE.

If you care about your relative or friend, PLEASE DON'T allow them to move to this facility. I honestly don’t know where to begin with how deplorable their living situation is, so I’ll start with the nursing staff. I have called the nursing staff only twice since my sister was placed there and was told by THE ADMINISTRATOR, before I could complete a sentence, “Lady, we take very good care of our patients here so there is no need for you to call again”, then she promptly HUNG UP ON ME. My sister has been there for several months now, and they still have not connected the television in her room so I was simply going to ask about getting it working for her but wasn’t allowed to ask anything before she rudely cut me off. Far worse even, I have heard the nurses yelling at her and was told that other patients are not only yelled at as well, but actually laughed about when the nurses are together in the hallway. Needless to say, when the administrator won’t have a conversation with you, there is no one for either of us to talk to about how she’s treated. I’ll just top it off with although she’s diabetic she’s only allowed 3 meals a day with water or coffee (ABSOLUTLY NO REFILLS) which often include things like potted meat sandwiches. Her recommended diabetic menu is completely ignored, and she’s not allowed to have food in between meals regardless of her blood sugar level. Again, all I can say is NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE THEY TREAT THEIR PATIENTS. Shame on you ROSE OF SHARON!!

This is a small single family dwelling that has 6 beds for seniors who have Mental and Dementia as well as Alzheimer's. They are well trained and are a locked facility for those who like to wonder. The staff is alert and attentive and the residents are clean and bright. The food is amazing and you can tell there is a lot of care and kindness that goes into the food. There are memory activities for keeping the mind alert and to help them feel less lost. There are outings to shopping malls and to the parks but because of the memory issues they do not venture far from home to keep them feeling safe and secure. The rooms are large and very clean. The home is nicely decorated and there is a warm cozy feeling here. I would place my loved one here.
