I went with this community for my mom, and she has moved in. It's awesome, the staff is very friendly, her room has a little kitchenette, bathroom, walk-in closet, a living area, and a bedroom. It's like a suite, it's nice. They did a Hula day yesterday, they did a Halloween party, and they had a lot of events. She said the food is good.

Management will make you think they care but Anna does not. Meals are frequently overcooked. Some staff cares the majority do not. Meds go missing or not given. Activities are only for specific residents. Cleanliness is not a priority. Laundry stacks up. Residents escape. Memory care residents are left unattended and are always left to sit in front of a tv all day. Assisted living residents are often treated badly when asking for help. Don’t push your call button it will be over looked as well. Over priced and very lacking on quality caring staff.

My brother's mother-in-law is at The Blake at Carnes Crossroads. That's the one I don't like. I'm not impressed because the room is dirty. I did not check into their activities because once I went to see my brother's mother-in-law's room, I was like, 'No.' The staff were alright, but it wasn't cheap. I think they need to pay attention to cleanliness, better patient interaction, and care.

I went to The Blake at Carnes Crossroads. The tour was nice. The community was very nice. It was good size, and it seemed very clean and very upkept. They had a bunch of variety of room layouts. There was one room that had an actual separate bedroom, and that seemed very nice. It had good space in it. The community wasn't quite as big as the other community, so it's little easier to meet people, get to know people, and stuff like that since there's not so many. The staff who accommodated me was very nice. He gave me a good tour, and there was lots of good information. They had a therapy room, a salon, a movie theater, and a nice little kind of enclosed courtyard area.

I toured the Blake and it's reasonably new and very well run. There were a lot of people there that were working with the people that live there, so everything seems like it works on clockwork. I was very impressed. It's also very pretty. The rooms were nice, too. It's assisted and memory, and I visited both. There was everything there but a swimming pool, and the pool wasn't supposed to be there, so that's the only thing, the only amenity they did not have. They have bingo, too. There was like five or six different things going on when I was there. Everyone we passed stopped and talked with us for a minute, so I was really impressed. It was between meals, but the menus looked quite good. I liked everything about it but I haven't convinced my mother to go there yet. It had a courtyard as well.

The Blake at Carnes Crossroads was very nice. It was very clean and very well-managed. The rooms were spacious and well-lit. I met two people and they were both very nice, very good, knowledgeable, and willing to help. The only thing I thought was that the memory unit was quite large and there was a man who couldn't find his room when we were there. So, the lady showed him his room, but to me, it was concerning that it was quite large and people with memory loss couldn't find their rooms.

The Blake at Carnes Crossroads was probably the nicest of all of them. It was very clean. I had a good impression. Even though the staff didn't know we had a meeting, she accommodated us. We were referred there originally by somebody who had been there, so we already knew the memory care was pretty good. I liked it a lot, but I don't think my parents would really fit into their assisted living at all. My mother's got dementia and the level of care that she needs is much more. The people were interactive and they keep them active with activities. We actually saw the activities going on there and we saw the staff was quite interactive as well. The staff members were all helping each other. They had Elvis there singing, they had games and movies, and people were picking up their family and were being interactive. It would seem like the place you would want to take your loved one.

The tour at The Blake at Carnes Crossroads was excellent. It was a large facility, and we checked out their memory care facility. It was very clean. The person who gave the tour was excellent and did an excellent tour. They have a nice facility. The rooms were very spacious, very roomy, and clean. The staff was very personable and nice. The surroundings were very inviting and very clean.

The Blake at Carnes Crossroads is quite luxurious. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and I thought the surroundings were very pleasant, and I was pretty impressed with the dining options. They have enhanced physical therapy, scheduled activities throughout the day, meals, snacks, and the private rooms included tables. I thought the rooms were pretty spacious, but it comes at a price at that level of care. The use of the menu made it seem like a restaurant, there were various options at each meal, if it was something a resident didn't like they could get soup and salad, or something simple. Tablecloths dress it up, make it look more fancy, and some fresh flowers on the table. They use when at all possible, like fresh fruits and vegetables, nothing from a can, and mostly low-sodium food. I saw some residents in some of the community rooms. In memory care, they're not as alert, but the staff was still very trying to get them to interact, talking to them. When I was there, they were finishing up lunch, and I think they had some crafts planned, and bingo that night. It was very clean.

The Blake at Carnes Crossroads is a lovely facility. I already told my nephews: if I have to go to a place, I'll go there. It is a very beautiful facility. It is very new. That's the kind of place that when I'm ready that I would probably want to go because it is near my church and near everything else. It's a beautiful facility. Everybody was very nice. It's got a lot of amenities and what-have-you. I've been out there twice, and I've been impressed both times. If I was going to go there, I want more of a gym and more of equipment because we still to get exercises. The thing I like the best is the fact that they have a dining room, and you can order off a menu.

I went to visit and the staff came out to meet me. It was really great, but they only do assisted living, and my sister has to have nursing care. But it was really good visit with them; it was a great experience. The lady that came out and talked to me was really knowledgeable, and she did a great job. My sister could have gone there for assisted living, but it wasn't the care that she needed. Though it was a great place. I saw the rooms in the computer, but I had been in there before visiting a friend. The rooms were well taken care of and it was a beautiful place. I liked everything that I saw.

It was nice and clean, although it's small. Their staff was extremely friendly. And the activities coordinator seemed to have great ideas and every time we visited, she was definitely engaging. They also showed us their dining area, activity areas, and garden. They have an open-concept dining area, but their rooms were all dark and there were just a couple of rooms with nice light. The people there seemed very engaging.

It was very clean and very nice, and the people were helpful. I liked that place a lot, even the memory care. The rooms were nice sized. The dining area was very nice, and it's restaurant style in the assisted living. They didn't have restaurant style dining in the memory care, but it still was very nice and clean. The people were very attentive to the residents. The staff during the visit was very helpful and took her time.
