I visited a friend at Harmony at Wescott. I thought it was a beautiful building. The staff was very friendly. I didn't eat there, but the presentation was beautiful. Her room was very nice. Everything was nice. It was overall clean. They had a guy come in. He had a guitar and he was singing and they were dancing and drinking their little cocktails.

I didn't see anything wrong with Harmony at Wescott. It's nice. It seemed like the room was a nice space. My brother-in-law is going to be moving in and he's in a wheelchair. The staff seemed real friendly and kindhearted and gave you a lot of information. I saw a gym but it's not a real big one. They have an outdoor area. They got a little patio from the room. The room was good sized and the bathroom as well.

Harmony at Wescott was a little bit out of my price range. They want $1700. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly. They greeted us with a smile. The dining area looked nice. I think they do bingo there. There's a pretty good variety of activities.

The rooms were pretty big compared to the other nursing homes we saw. Staff very professional, Dad in memory care, They treat him perfectly no complaints from him or myself. Low meal staff kinda got food later than expected. Otherwise, everything is perfect

I toured Harmony at Wescott. It's very nice. The rooms were very clean. They cleaned every week. When you're hungry, they have a menu. If there's something that they're having that you don't care to have, they have some other things always available that you can take from, which is nice. The people and staff were there, and she was very nice.

Mom moved to Harmony at Wescott. The people that work there are very kind. They work very hard and we're very thankful to have them there. I have tasted the food occasionally and it was very good. They keep the facility clean and they maintain it very well. I've seen the activities. Mom doesn't participate, but they're there for her when she wants to. They have Bible study and bingo. Each month has a different theme and they will have cooking according to that theme. They take them during the week to maybe Walmart or Big Lots where they can go shopping. So, they have lots of things to do.

We toured Harmony at Wescot. We looked at the one bedroom. I had a full-size refrigerator and a full-size kitchenette. The washer and dryer were in the bathroom and had a full-size walk-in shower, a very good size. The staff was very good. I talked to Josh, and he was a very nice guy. The facility was very good, and very clean. I felt comfortable. Some residents were sitting out front and one of them came walking in, and they were nice and friendly. I stood and talked to them for a couple of minutes. Everyone inside was fine.

I toured Harmony at Wescott. I think it's very clean, very secure, and, as far as proximity to my home, it's very convenient. Most of my interactions were extremely positive. When we had to do the examination, the person who I was scheduled to meet with wasn't available, so there was a substitute person. And I think the transfer of information from the person I was scheduled to meet with, to the person we met with to do the evaluation, could have been handled better.

I toured Harmony at Wescott. I thought the food looked like it was going to be very good because right now I have Meals on Wheels. I'd rather have home-cooked meals like you could get at Wescott, but it was a little too small for me. Even with a two-bedroom that I was interested in getting, it was only like 1100 square feet. Nothing wrong with the apartment. It's just too small, and there's too much work for me to organize all the stuff that I have in my big house to put into that small living accommodation. Josh is very accommodating and polite and everything wasn't pushy.

I toured Harmony at Wescott. The director showed me around, and she was nice. I saw the studio, and it was small. They gave me a copy of their monthly schedule, and they had a lot of things to do. They tried to keep everyone happy. Everything was clean, but the location was not close. The building doesn't look old, but it was well-maintained.

Our father was seriously neglected in memory care. Unexplained and un documented lacerations and black eyes, inability for Harmony to provide care that was contractually promised. Even upped care bill to a staggering $7200. Bumped into the marketing director upon moving our father. Told her to be sure to show my dads room with feces on the wall and a urine soaked mattress. Harmony takes any dignity remaining from their dementia residents. Everyone knows the issues, 1000 excuses.

One star is too many. Memory care residents are neglected. Injured without explanation, left to sit in their filthy depends, not bathed. It smells of urine every where. Harmony takes the very last ounce of dignity away. Memory care needs to be shut down, hopefully DHEC will do just that.

Harmony at Wescott was very nice with a lot of activities and resources. I liked that. Also, the rooms were nicely sized. The dining area was very pleasant and very nice. There was a receptionist and there was a main person who was very friendly and very knowledgeable.

My mom will move to Harmony at Wescott. We love the staff. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful. My mom's apartment is bigger than any others that we saw, and it has more amenities. We just think she's going to be very happy there. All appliances are included, even a washer and dryer. The staff who toured us was friendly and helpful. My mom would get three meals a day and snacks. Coffee, drinks, and all that is included, too. There are outdoor spaces along a patio with tables, but not a courtyard or anything like that.

I liked that everything at Harmony at Wescott was in one building. They seemed to have a lot of activities for the residents. They gave me a copy of their activities for the month and it was multiple things for each day that you could do. One of the other things that I liked was that when a resident does move out, they go in and rip all the carpeting out of the apartment and put new carpeting in. Or if the resident coming in prefers vinyl flooring, they would do that. They also painted the entire apartment at that time. What I didn't like was in some areas, it was quite a walk to get to the elevators. I wish that they had more elevators so that they were closer together. The building seemed to be very clean. They seemed to have a pretty extensive menu, but I did not try the food. They had an exercise room. Every morning, they do chair exercises, which I would be interested in. They also had two different library areas. One was all history books and the other one was just about any kind of book that you wanted to have, and that area was very large. They also had a movie theater and you could tell that the chairs were extremely comfortable. They also had a pub area where they got together a couple of times a week to have beer and wine. And then that area was decorated based on whatever holiday is coming up. They pick a different country every month and do some decorating based on whatever country they pick. They had a bus that takes people out a couple of times a week. There was another room with tables that you could go in and do puzzles or play cards.

I went and saw Harmony at Wescott. It was beautiful and new. The facility was nice, bright, and open. It had all the amenities. It was just too far from where I live, and there was a lot of traffic to get to it. They had a salon, a gym, and occupational and physical therapy onsite. The staff were all good. There was nothing wrong with the facility, other than where it was located.

Harmony at Wescott was very neat and very organized. They looked like they had a lot of activities. We met with the young lady, and she showed us around. She was very respectful. She gave us a lot of information. She told us a lot about senior living and their safety precautions and stuff like that. She gave us a lot of details about how much the prices would be. She was very patient with us, so the tour was pretty nice. I saw the courtyard. They had a game room, they had a salon, and they had a little gym for them as well, so that was nice. I saw the menu. They tend to have like a regular menu and then they have another menu just in case the seniors don't want exactly what's on the menu.

My husband and I went to tour Harmony at Wescott. He's a very critical person, but he fell in love with the facility before we even left the parking lot. The manager was very accommodating and welcoming. She made us feel like family and the facilities were absolutely beautiful. We loved the activities that they had for the residents. It wasn't just a few little dinky board games and some bingo, but some actual real activities that even my husband and I wouldn't mind participating in. We love the restaurant-style dining hall. The rooms were immaculate and spacious. They had a full library, a separate activity room, and a little wet bar that had some lemon water and some other refreshment that they said was available all the time. It didn't feel like a senior home at all. It felt almost like a resort.

The staff at Harmony at Westcott was very lovely and very prepared to give us information. The facility was very attractive. The apartments were smaller, but it's got attractive grounds and a nice sun area in the back. The meal we had was very good. There were some people playing cards and playing pool while we were there.

My mom lived at Harmony at Wescott, but she lived there independently. That place was very nice, it was just very expensive. She couldn't afford it when she needed assisted living, so she had to move out of there. It was pricier, but it was nice. My mom did basically everything herself. The only thing they did there was they provided one meal, and that was it. She was able to walk around and do things there, so she enjoyed it there. But when she fell and had to go to the hospital, and when she got out, she couldn't do her own medicines and all that stuff anymore, so she had to go to assisted living. But the independent living side, she enjoyed. She liked that side. And they did take them to places, to events, to movies, to shopping and all the other stuff they get to do when they're independent. So she enjoyed that one. I was able to try their food when we visited. They gave us a meal that day, and the food was very good. My mom's unit had a full kitchen and a full bathroom with a washer and dryer. It's a stackable washer-dryer that was there for her. She had a handicapped bathroom shower, and she could put a chair in there. She had a separate bedroom, too. The staff were very good.

Harmony at Wescott was excellent. The tour guide was very informative. She sat down with us and talked to us before we went in. She took us through and gave us a nice tour. She was excellent. She even offered us cookies before we left, which was very nice. The facility was in great shape. It was very organized and very clean. They had a salon, a theater room, exercise rooms, and a lot of nice things. The residents seemed to be enjoying their stay.

We toured Harmony at Wescott. We liked that they had a lot of different amenities. They had a bistro area, and they had a craft room. It was definitely a much larger facility than what the other facility was, and it sounded like they had assisted living, the independent living, and also the memory care in that unit. They had the separate bedrooms and not the studio-style rooms. They were a pretty good size, probably pretty comparable to the assisted living where my parents are currently in Iowa. They had a salon, and they had a movie theater. The staff said they have a thing where they help you do online grocery ordering and then they deliver it to the facility. They had a small fitness center for the residents, too. The lady that gave us the tour, that talked to us and everything, was very nice. She seemed very knowledgeable of the whole facility, what they had to offer, and how things worked. As for the upkeep of the facility, it looked very clean. It's a newer facility, so it's very clean and very nice.

Harmony at Wescott has secure rooms that are large-sized. They have friendly staff. But they were too far away from me so that wasn't my first choice. There were a lot of activities there, they had a library, puzzle room and trivia places, and exercise equipment and all that kind of stuff. So that was a plus. Everything about the place was fine for me.

The young lady at Harmony at Wescott, Savannah, was very helpful in providing me with materials to bring home to share with my family in written form. She also gave me a tour of the facility. She showed me two of the apartments in the independent living area because that's what I'm looking for. They were 2-bedroom apartments and the layout was nice but I didn't care for all the carpeting because I have an asthmatic reaction to wall-to-wall carpeting. They have a library and they have an area where you could receive family. She also showed me an exercise room but I didn't see much equipment in their fitness area. I saw a few people playing cards and this was after their lunch. The staff were all very courteous and offered to be of assistance. Everyone I came in contact with was cordial. I hadn't noticed anything outside, no gardens or anything of that nature.

The Harmony at Wescott is very expensive. Seniors that are on a limited budget are not going to qualify. Be advised this is an executive-style living facility, so it costs money to live there. Seniors must have some type of additional income besides their basic pension and Social Security. The furnishings, the common areas, the rooms, the dining areas, everything was like a five-star restaurant. It was all upscale. This is for people that no longer desire to manage their own homes. They want people to take care of them, and yet, you're still able to take care of yourself. If I were retiring, I would want to live at the Harmony. They had everything there. My husband and I looking at our retirement future and how we wanted to live. It's nice, but it is on the higher end and seniors need to be aware of that. Unfortunately, down here in the South, these people do not plan appropriately, at least the senior citizens that I've been working with, they do not plan appropriately for long term care. It's like a resort; it's upscale, and they have everything. They had studios, 1-bedrooms, and 2-bedrooms. They had a loft apartment, that one was $6000 a month, without all of the other stuff that goes along with it. Sometimes the sticker shock is incredible, in there it was like that. Because the senior citizens and most of them have cognitive issues, they say "Oh, that's what I want" without the realization that they don't have $8000 a month for this. Our visit was earlier in the day, so it wasn't around mealtime.

I went to tour Harmony at Wescott. It's a very beautiful community. It was great. The physical appearance was great. The staff member who toured me around, her name was Lisa, she was great. She's an amazing person. She emailed me a lot of information about the different levels of care. She said that they had a lot of activities. They had the best rooms that I've seen so far. The rooms were spacious. They had a little kitchenette, but there was no stove because you can't have stoves and stuff like that with people in memory care. It still appeared like a housing unit, and it was nice. You can have a microwave and stuff like that and that was nice. The grounds were good. However, I was looking for them to talk to me a little bit about diversity, like how diverse the place was, and I wasn't able to get as much information on that, but that's the only critique that I have. I would suggest giving more time to speak with residents and more time to actually see the residents participating in the activities, like if they have any kind of PE classes or if they have any arts classes, and more time to speak with the nurses.

I went to the Harmony at Wescott. I liked it. I'm going to put in a deposit for my father today, or tomorrow, to hold the room. It was honestly a great experience, it was very professional, and the place is nice and clean. It doesn't feel like you're leaving your parents in a bad place. I met the receptionist. Her name is also Wendy. She had a lot of personality. She was very sweet, and Savannah is the one who gave me the tour. Savannah was very informative, very professional, and she was very nice. They have a lot of activities, and she showed me everything for assisted living. But I mostly paid attention to memory care. They have an outdoor area that they can go in where they're safe and they're not going to be able to wander off. The group was watching a movie when I went there. They have simulations for people, just like a bus stop-type little area set up for people. When you have Alzheimer's, you get confused and some people like to go sit at the bus stop. They had sensory things to help with Alzheimer's and memory care. It was very nice.

We chose Harmony at Wescott for my dad. The tour was great, they gave us complimentary tickets for the food, and we tested that out. They had a lot of different options for both one-bedroom and two-bedroom. It was clean, had friendly staff, and had overall good amenities. They had a movie theater, multiple libraries, a game room, and a kind of workout/health room where you can have rehab. The staff was good, they're flexible, and with my dad being in Florida, not selling the house yet, they gave you an extension of 60 days instead of 30. So they were working with us. It's only four years old, it still looks brand new.

My mom will be going over to Harmony at Wescott. We just like their facility. It was really clean. There was a lot for the residents to do there and a lot of amenities for them. Plus, it was close to where my dad stayed. They have bingo. They go out for dinner once a week. They do a lot of movie nights. They have a pool tournament with another senior living facility, so it's pretty good.

We chose Harmony at Wescott for its proximity to my house, which was important, and the cleanliness of the facility. The facility is fully staffed and it has people who work there that enjoy their jobs very much and treat everyone nicely. My mom is currently in respite care at their memory care. Part of why we did respite was because we weren't sure what level of care she would need so they've been very accommodating and helping me with that to see what she needs. We think she is going to do assisted living with a higher level of care and not the locked-down memory unit yet. My mom started a fire in my house so I had to be out of there but Harmony actually went to my mom's doctor's office to get the paperwork filled out and just made it work. It's something that we all work together collaboratively, but they went above and beyond to make sure that I could get my mom there. She's not participating in them very much, but they have activities all the time, all day, every day. The place doesn't smell like a nursing home, it's very clean. They have a lot of safety protocols for COVID right now too and it looks like you're walking to a hotel instead of an assisted living facility. As far as comparing to other facilities, other facilities cost the same or more that were in horrific conditions. I guess the value, in comparing it to other facilities, is good.

I went to the Harmony at Wescott. They seemed a little low staff, and didn't seem as professional as the other place. When I walked in there, there was no one at the reception desk that I could tell I was there for an appointment. The sales girl that I was working with was new and couldn't answer hardly any of my questions. The regular salesperson was occupied, but she came in later. I thought it was laid out well, there were a couple of vacated rooms that hadn't been cleaned yet. It needed some minor attention. I didn't see anybody in activities, it seemed a little smaller, a little messier. They have a physical therapy room, a beauty parlor, an outdoor garden area, a big community room which is adjacent to their dining area. They showed me the safety of how the doors are locked and got to look at a couple of different rooms. They were just a little bit smaller than the other place, but adequate, and bigger than the room we have now. The residents weren't very interactive with me. Some of them just said hello, and smiled, and seemed like they were all out in the community area. I can't remember if they were finishing snacks, and they said they have activities every day. They had music, old movies like sing alongs, crafts, outdoor time in the garden when it's not too hot, and the physical therapy, and exercise routines if you need it. The cost was more manageable. I'm disappointed that they don't have nurses on staff around the clock.

I have a friend that lives in Harmony at Wescott Plantation. It was very nice. The apartment was very nice, had vaulted ceilings, and it felt homey. It's just a very nice atmosphere. The staff was very nice, very forthcoming with all the information and upfront move-in cost and everything, and was very helpful. They didn't show too many amenities because of Covid. The only thing I can remember is the dining room. I don't think they showed us anything because Covid was just starting. They were so strict about everything.

Harmony at Wescott Plantation is very nice. This is the newest one. It's four years old. They get good adequate apartments, and they have a very nice assisted living section (which I was impressed with). It's almost a two-room suite, but it's just one big building. You get the feeling that you're living in a hotel, but there is no covered parking of any kind. It's got a limited acreage. It is just one mile where I live. The proximity to where I live would not cause me to seek other things (like doctors and dentists) that are more convenient. I just stay with all my care facilities that I have here. I toured the independent, but I also saw the assisted facility. I was impressed with both areas. I would say the independent living I saw more of than the assisted living. The dining area is very nice. They also have a salon, a pool, and an exercise facility; all is in this one building. I saw people playing cards in the game room. They have a very nice library. I was looking at the larger apartments that they have, which were around 1,200 to 1,400 square feet. They don't have a big buy-in fee; you pay by the month for the apartment. They have lot of older people. The people they have in wheelchairs were outdoors gathered around at the entrance to the building. It didn't look like they had park like area for these people. It's mostly the hotel and a lot of paved parking. I didn't really meet a lot of staff. I was shown around by the administrator there, and she was super friendly, very helpful, and answered all my questions. Their food plan is not flexible. You get two meals a day, and you don't have the flexibility that the other facility has.

There is new management in place and it has made all the difference! The new Director and Healthcare Director are absolutely amazing and actually listen to us on what we want and need for our home. The first week the new director came, she held a meeting and asked what changes we wanted to see and within her first 30 days she had done them all! We have new landscaping outside, better food, more activity outings, and more residents are joining us every week. I am so happy to see these changes and am now excited at the prospect of moving to assisted living with such a wonderful Healthcare Director in place. He truly cares about the residents and makes sure the staff does too!

My mother lived at Harmony for over 3 years. She contracted Covid from an employee and became extremely ill. Currently the property has no management as the director recently left and both nurses in charge of assisted and memory are leaving. Buyer beware. Extreme prices and level of care is poor. This property currently has some major problems and I would NOT recommend sending your loved ones there till the company cleans it up. My mom was paying almost $5000 for level 1 in Assisted living. Memory care starts at $6200. Prices are extreme and the care is not good. Shop around. I feel bad for the residents that are still there. Although many have moved out since this last increase. Activities are not structured for AL residents. In fact, AL and IL do activities together even though IL residents are allowed to go and come during the pandemic.

Originally I gave a good review, because they put on a really good act when their trying to convince you to move in. Today I've removed my mom from this facility. Today is 1 day short of 2months. She moved into assisted living. Approximately 3weeks after her moving in. They transferred her to memory care. Without any of her belongs. I had an interaction with 1 staff member where she outright didn't want to respond when I asked was she okay? The rooms were nice.

The apartments at Harmony at Wescott Plantation were nice and nicely furnished. They have several different dining areas and they were clean. They have seemed to have food available during the day without a really set meal time. The staff seemed busy. The residents of memory care were just sitting there, but the residents of assisted living were out and about and were in their rooms. We also saw their outdoor garden, and beauty salon.

Harmony at Wescott Plantation is by a golf course. It's a really nice place, but you only get one meal a day, and you have to decide whether you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They had a library on each floor. It's an expensive place to stay, but the staff member who showed us around did a good job. The room had a kitchen, a stove, a refrigerator, a washer and dryer, and a porch on the outside.

My parents are at Harmony at Wescott Plantation. Most things that were promised in terms of the nursing care have not really come true. There has been a lot of frustration on my part because they're not holding true to their promises. The good news was that they were able to get them in quickly. It's month-to-month, so if we need to jump ship and possibly go elsewhere, we can. The facilities and the building itself are extremely nice, but they've had some turnover with the cooks, and a lot of the occupants complain about the food as well. They offer plenty of activities, but I haven't been pleased at all with the nursing staff. It's pretty expensive, and they're not getting the care they need.

The Crossings at Wescott Plantation was a friendly community and it's well set up. The people were happy, and the staff was excellent. The rooms were very nice, clean, and medium sized. The dining area was very nice and very clean. It would be an excellent place to put your mother. I visited the assisted living and memory care facilities.

The Crossings at Wescott Plantation's environment was nice and clean. My concern was just the pricing. It would be a facility that I would want my mom to be in. The staff was definitely professional. It was very impressive.

The Crossings at Wescott Plantation is brand-new, so everything was very nice and clean. I didn't have any problems with it, although it did seem a little vacant because I visited on a Saturday, which was a calmer time. The rooms were really clean and the kitchens were nice, and I like that some apartments had balconies. All in all I got a good vibe about the place; it just didn't fit our needs. They have a very small library. The staff members were really young. It didnt seem like they had much experience in the field, but they were very nice.

We visited the Crossings at Westcott Plantation. It was a very nice place, the rooms were absolutely amazing, they were apartment-style with a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and a bedroom. It was well-kept, the place was huge, which threw my mom off, because she thought she would get lost. The dining room was beautiful. We liked that Mom could have her own space, and a room where she could live freely. They have a library, salon, a pool table, a café, meeting room, and you can do crafts, or go out occasionally in their vans. The staff was very knowledgeable.

The Crossings at Wescott Plantation was wonderful and very nice. The lady who gave us the tour answered all our questions. We were very impressed with it. The apartments were small, but adequate. Everybody I saw was smiling, and I didn't see anybody who was sad or upset. They have a game room, a library, and activities planned three to four times a day. Its a new place and has only been opened a few months. Everybody was just super nice and knew what they were talking about.
