I moved here 3 years ago after living at another assisted living. This facility was good to begin with but since the new ownership, it's great! Now we have sun chairs outside each of our rooms, outdoor grills to use on a hot summer day, new carpets, ovens, fridges, ample activities for us like baking classes, yoga, exercise equipments, bingo, breakfast lunch and supper trips and a heap of other things. RECOMMEND! James R.

We have chosen Shadow Oaks Assisted Living for my sister-in-law. It was close to home. The people were friendly. The place was nice. It was very informative. It was very secure. They have a nice place where you could walk outside with picnic tables and swings. They have transportation. I saw a one-bedroom, and it was nice. It looked like it was well-maintained.

Oak Shadows is a great place for both assisted and independent living. Our family was worried about putting my sister in a facility, fearing that she may be homesick or mistreated. We came for the facility's Thanksgiving dinner and were happy to hear that our sister loves the community. She raved about the office staff and Cindy the head of the personal care attendants. She mentioned the names of two close women that had become her friends and attended bingo in the activity room. Michelle, who is the activity director is happy and always present to assist with each resident. Highly recommend! Martha Vasquez

Shadow Oaks was nice, and the person who assisted me was very helpful. They have lots of activities and accommodations for 2 rooms and a living area that would be shared which was a little bit cheaper than just regular private room. It looked kind of like a nursing home.

Shadow Oaks is a very nice, exquisite facility. The nurse was very friendly, and I met the receptionist and the owners who showed me a respite room, which was very tiny. All that you could fit was a bed, and outside of it was a sun porch. Every wing had a sun porch and a den with a fireplace. They had a very pretty dining room, a very pretty entry way, and a covered porch with rocking chairs. My sister wanted to move Mother there, but I did not like the size of the bedroom.

Shadow Oaks was beautiful. It was very upscale and was in a wooded area with a pond and palm trees. The rooms were very large. You had a choice of companionship rooms or large rooms. They had a memory care unit that was also very nice. I was very well pleased. The dining room was very nice. I had not personally eaten there, but I had seen the food, and it looked very good. There was a calendar of events. They had games and church services. They had transportation to doctor's appointments. It was very secure. There were codes for the outside entrance and inside entrance for the memory care unit.

The part I like best at Shadow Oaks Assisted Living is their home and residents. They're very clean, bright, and cheerful. The staff was very knowledgeable. They have different people who come for entertainment; they play games and take them for doctor's appointment if they have one.
