We toured Oaks at Aiken. That was way too big, too much. It had many levels of floors, like a casino major hotel. It wouldn't be for my dad. It's actually made by people who make hotels. That's what it looked like, a five-star hotel or something. He needs more of a one-level smaller place. We saw some rooms and stuff like that. They did have something outside. They did have some areas where you could walk around. All the meals are prepared for them. They had a schedule where they had a lot of different arts and crafts going on for the residents. They had a lot of things to do. The furniture is very hard. The pillows you sit on, and the couch itself, are extremely stiff. I guess they did that for a reason; a lot of the residents can't get up. They need to have that to be able to get up and down. The staff was OK.

I toured Oaks at Aiken. It was very bright and seemed like a nice place. It was new-looking. It's very clean and beautiful. It was a happy environment. The room is small. They had a large beautiful dining area.

I toured Oaks at Aiken. It's brand new, so of course it'll present well. The lady that we talked to was very informative and gave us a lot of information to think about. The first thing was it has very open floor plans for the majority of the facility, and the rooms seem very well-appointed and efficient. The staff were just very friendly, very efficient as far as answering our questions and had been very helpful. They had an activities room. They had an arts and crafts room and a movie theater area. They had an area where you could go in and meet for Bible instruction. They share their religious interests.

Oaks at Aiken was brand new. Everybody's excited and ready to help. They just opened and everything's new and fresh. I saw the memory care and they're still getting things together, but the management was excellent. They have a salon, a theater, and a game room. They have a lot available for the folks.
