We toured Hammond Square for my dad. The staff is awesome. They are kind and patient, and they work with you. The facility is a little rundown. They're working on getting some things updated. That would be my only hangup is that it looks like the projects when you go into an apartment. The only thing that's fixed up is the showroom. The showroom where they show you what an apartment could look like once you furnish it. But everything else is kind of outdated, and I do know that she said they are working on getting that taken care of one room at a time. They all raved about the menus and how they can be customized. But no food tasting.

I looked here. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. They provide me with a wealth of information and even did a follow-up, which was kind of them. The rooms were nice and spacious, and they have a very home-like appeal to them. All their activities were posted, and it was a lot. They had a lot of activities posted and the residents there appeared to be happy.

The people here were phenomenal. They were very good and excellent. The one who assisted us on our tour obviously showed us everything. She called us, and kept in touch with us; she did a very good Job. The rooms are great, and the facility was excellent. There was nothing wrong with it. The only reason that we didn't choose it for my dad is we got one that was available and closer.

I went here. They had different care levels, if I fell and broke something, I can still stay there. It was nice, but it didn't have a kitchen. Three meals a day are available, they had various activities that started on the hour, and they offered rehab services. Everybody was polite and professional.

I didn't want to take my dad out of North Augusta, because his friends are there, his church is there, and his family is there. He picked them. They seem to care about him. It's also in the country, and there are trees that he's familiar with when he looks out the window. We're very pleased so far. He seems to enjoy the food and he's not complaining. That's one of the reasons we put him in there too, because they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That's something he's not getting at home. He lives by himself. He needed more attention as time goes by. Now he's getting breakfast instead of just a bowl of cereal. This morning he just had scrambled eggs, bacon, and a piece of toast with jelly on it. They also take the residents on several field trips.
