My brother is in Wyndmoor Hills and Nursing Center Rehabilitation. It's a nursing home, they have everything that he needs there and he's in long-term care. I'm satisfied with it and it seems very nice. We haven't been there very long, but he seems to be well taken care of and I have no complaints. It doesn't stink like when you go to some places and it smells like pee. It's a nice environment. They have pictures on the walls and everything is nice. It's presented well and it smells fresh. They have a lot of things for the residents to do like exercise. I like the way that each floor is almost like independent living. They don't have to be going up and down either. Everything is on that floor for the people. It also seems like there's a lot of people caring for him. It seems like there's plenty of people looking after him. If he needs to be downstairs for visitation or something, somebody has to take him back to his room. There's never an argument and people there will just willingly go in and do it. You know when people don't want to do something, they act like they don't hear you. So far, all the staff here seem to be warm and friendly. They gladly take him back to his room because we're not allowed in his room. They have visiting rooms that you can go to during visits. On nice days, you can go outside. There's a place out there where you can sit with your family. When he first went in, the dietician called to see what type of food he likes and where he eats and how he eats. My brother tells me that they're given plenty of food, 3 or 4 times a day. His only complaint was he couldn't have 1 cookie at night. They have flowers right in the windows and it looks nice.

Wyndmoor Hills has been home to my sister, who is covered by Medicaid, for 4 yrs. Throughout this time, she has received care from some exceptionally kind and professional nurses, aides and therapists. The administrators, admissions directors, receptionists, schedulers couldn't be more caring and responsive to residents and their families. However, there is always staff turnover which is difficult. Also, Wyndmoor Hills is an old facility in great need of major improvements with its physical plant.

Located in a great and peaceful setting... I eagerly looked forward to going to Wyndmoor Hills, after going to another location. Now that I know what I know, I wouldn't want to return to Wyndmoor Hills. Why? Breakfast food was frequently horrible and 20% of the staff should not be working with people. Also, half of the physical therapy team would not even say hello to me after my insurance coverage ended. The private room was nice and cleaned every day. As I was located near the nurses station the TV sounds late at night could be annoying. I was told rodents (mice) thrived in the building. I never saw any. My favorite aide, Ms. Nicole, is a gem. I was excited to be discharged and happy to be able to go home.

Please if you’re considering this place, don’t do it. My parent went there to recover after having Covid. It was fine when they got there, 6 days later they were dead. Once there no one would call us. We couldn’t talk to them. They never answered the phone when you called the center, nursing station or room. Terrible place.

My mother is currently in this place for rehabilitation. This place is not fit for a rats stay, let alone any human being. She's been there about a week and her room has never been cleaned! The same dirt Spots on walls and floors are still there. The entire place needs to be disinfected and cleaned as the place is filthy and disgusting. I don't know if it's a shortage in staff or not but what I do know is that patient care is not good there. I pray my mother is not there much longer so I can take her home where she is cared for and loved. If you can avoided having your love ones placed here, I would suggest that you don't because it definitely has a problem with cleanliness.

It was great to have a liaison, Sydney, available to answer all my questions prior to my loved one’s admission. Sydney proved invaluable even after my loved ones discharge. My interactions with the staff indicated they were doing the best they could being understaffed and accepting Covid patients. The staff are heros! My loved one reported kindness and caring. It’s hard to evaluate the facilities when visitors are restricted to the lobby to visit with their loved ones due to Covid. Since the short term stay was paid by Medicare, it’s hard to judge the value. However all amenities were included: TV, phone, Laundry, etc. as far as activities, my loved one was only there 18 days; no activities except PT. Regarding rooms, my loved one said cleanliness could have been improved upon from one day to the next. Regarding meals, timeliness if receiving them was an issue at least once. Overall, Sydney was the MOST VALUABLE link between me( the family member of my loved one) And the entire facility!

Wyndmoor Hills Premier Subacute Care is a nice place. I dealt with the director or social worker and she's very professional. The facility is nice, because of COVID I can't really go anywhere but it's clean. The lobby is nice and clean.

I am a resident of Wyndmoor Hills (Montgomery Rehab). The community is OK, and we have some good staff members here. The food is fine for me and we have specials every now and then. They also offer activities for the residents. If there's something they could improve, I think they could make the cost system better.
