This facility is by far thee worst of them all. The lack of supervision is at an all time high. The attention to detail is very poor. Not to mention, anybody can just walk in and walk around, goes from room to room without any saying it asking them anything. Females patients using the bathroom while the doors open and all male staffs and patients visible to see. A lot of staff enaction with each other. Patients are being left unattended. Then when you report the administration acts as if you are the problem. Patients personal items are being stolen and the facility can't give you an good reason as to what happens. They do not take any compliants seriously at all. You call and leave messages to the social workers and/or administration they never returns your call at all.

If you love and care for your loved one, do not use this facility. My grandfather stayed here and he was not feed or given any type of liquids, such as the basic necessity of water. Unfortunately, he lost the ability to feed himself, therefore they didn't feel the need to feed him. This facility lacks in experience with patients suffering from dementia. Not to mentioned, poor maintenance of the entire facility. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

If I could give it minus stars I would. My mother's sheets have not been changed in weeks. Clothes that come back from the laundry are not hung up in her closet by the staff even though she is unable to do it herself. Psychiatrist thought she had dementia but if he took more than five minutes with her he would have realized she didn't respond because she is hard of hearing.

Hillcrest is clean. The staff seemed to be very caring there. There are activities which were good. They could have more activities and the food could be better. I think they're all very expensive. There are always additional charges that you have to deal with but I would say that Hillcrest is probably an average one. Having been around to a lot of others, I would give them probably a 3.

We were working hard to find a nice place for our grandmother who was in the middle stages of dementia and could no longer stay in our home. Hillcrest was very nice for this kind of nursing home. They had a nice day room, but not always enough interesting activities for the residents (because they are understandably creating services for a wide range of mental and physical abilities) My grandmother enjoyed bingo and some of the crafts, although they were simple and she was a whiz in her bible group, so that was a plus. The facilities were clean and pleasant, although you did see people who were sitting off by themselves for quite a while sometimes, although they seemed mostly content. The food was fair to good, and the staff worked hard to make holidays cheery and pleasant. All in all, this was a nice place for our grandmother and they worked with our financial constraints to provide the care that she needed. She also got along with her roommate, and a nice sunroom.
