My father was in Woodhaven Care Center before for rehab. It was OK, but they're understaffed, and there's just not enough people. There's only one lady, and there are 40 patients, but the staff was knowledgeable. I liked the rooms; they have big windows, and the rooms get a lot of light.

I feel bad for the people having to stay here.. today's dinner is a turkey club which is actually 2 plain pieces of bread and 2 pieces of turkey. I'm sure you can probably find a cook that can actually cook for these people.!!!

Don't send your relatives to this place! They only take care of their own kind! Woodhaven kept sending my dad to dyalisis knowing he couldn't breathe!! This place needs to be shut down!

Horrible experience. If you need Inpatient OT/PT... DO NOT GO HERE! I checked out this morning AMA after only one night! My dinner entree consisted of a sandwich with one slice of turkey lunch meat and one slice of cheese served in a baggie! Night nurses are a non responsive to the nurses call button.

Some nurses and aid were very poor, very poor regarding their response time to patients who called them. Nurses (some) were nasty and ill-intended by not giving pain medications in a reasonable period of time. The Supervising nurse, Supervisor of Nursing, and the Director acting concern, but the same nurses still were scheduled to the same shift (my care), and all their co-workers said bad things about me like "she's a bitch", in ear-shot. I didn't deserved this. I was immobile, and they take advantage of that, as well as infirm, and "out-of-it" patients. The hallways were so noisy, so loud were the workers, that I continuously asked for my door to be kept shut. I left the place after three days without waiting for a doctor's approval...any normal procedure, I was so distraught. The place was clean, rooms were nice and as because of cover-19, I didn't have a room mate. Too many times I had no one responding in time for my need for the bed pan. The food was mediocre.

Do not send your loved one here and if you too question their competence please have them transferred immediately! To say the care was poor would be an understatement; The nursing staff go out if their way to avoid taking care of the resident's needs. My father was independently mobile with his wheelchair, but it was placed in storage the evening he arrived. No one observed him eating, bathing or using the bathroom, all of which require staff support. Leaving him stuck in bed all day, which he had fallen out of several times. There were no day activities and I noted all of the residents sleeping or alone in rooms watching TV. His plan of care was NOT followed and it became obvious staff never even read it! Very terrible care, director is actively involved in managing staff to ensure the patient's needs are getting met.

Please dont place your loved ones here. The Director of Nursing covers for everyone, and if you complain staff takes it out on the resident. They are mean & cruel.

I unfortunately came to the facility for rehabilitation. First let me tell you the rehab both PT and OT are great! Nursing is so-so depends on the nurse you get. The accounting office was horrid - she expected to get a check from me every week or threatened to "throw me out". There were some Aides that were nice, but there were more that were lazy. I wouldn't come here. They said that you could have your hair done there by your own hairdresser, well, there was a key you needed - well you would've thought it was made of gold - we had to fight to get it and when we were given it - she had the most rotten look on her face.

The nursing care and especially the PT caregivers were very good. My complaint is with the dietician and food. My mother was admitted for PT after a stay in the hospital for congestive heart failure. She was fine when she arrived, but after a week of salty foods (was supposed to be on a NO SALT diet) she was back where she started from when she was admitted to the hospital. They were giving her bacon, ham, pepperoni pizza - everything she was NOT supposed to have. Even after discussing it with the dietician, she seemed to not understand what NO SALT meant. She said "We don't put a packet of salt on your mother's tray."

My wife and I visited this facility in October and found it to be clean no urine smell at all in any part of the building. My sister is a nurse and a former director of admissions for a large nursing home complex and my niece is a social worker. The activities director and especially the admissions director were both very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all and any of our questions. they were candid in telling us there were problems in the past but they are under new leadership and have seen many positive changes.

I toured Woodhaven Care Center for my grandmother. When you walk in, the lobby is beautiful, but as soon as you get pass through the doors, the smell of urine and stool was horrific. I'm a nurse and I think I kind of see things many lay people don't, but the smell would be stronger than what it is for me. It didn't get any better when I went on different floors or to their different areas. It was not a clean facility. Their rooms were very small, nothing spectacular. I hate to say it but they were almost worse than dorm rooms. I also did not find the staff to be attentive to their patients. There were a few patients we had passed that needed to use the restroom and the person give me a tour just ignore them. They need to improve on everything, they could remodel, they could be cleaner, and their employees could be a little more giving of the patients.
