This Rehabilitation Center is one of the best in the Levittown Pennsylvania area and Pennsylvania Regional area. It is cleaned daily, nursing and medical staff go above and beyond what they're asked to do for their residence resident care is a top priority at all times. Physical rehabilitation center is one of the best in the region giving people on their feet as quickly as they get in the door and sending them home to their community and loved ones as fast as possible. Post rehabilitation centers care is handled by some of the best social workers in business everything from therapy to medical equipment is in place before the resident leaves the facility. The facilities activities Department drives on a daily basis to provide quality of entertainment and functions for The Residence at all times. Meals are provided by one of the top vendors in the community for all major restaurants including Golden Dawn on New Falls Road everything Made to order, plenty of variety. Promotes resident Independence, for residents that smoke there is a great smoking program and schedule. Facility is managed by Cindy Woodward. Director of nursing Jamie Vonberg direct the nurses on how to appropriately and properly care for residents based on individual needs and requests privacy is a top priority. As a current resident and volunteer I would refer this facility for my friends and family above any other facility in the Levittown Langhorne area!!

Statesman Woods Living Center's faculty is very friendly and helpful. It's a small facility so I felt that the residents would receive better care there. They seem to really care about the residents. The place was very clean. It's one floor, with three or four wings. The residents seemed content. I saw one room where they played games, and it had a TV, piano, and activities for the residents. Everybody seemed pretty happy. The person who showed us around was very friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.

On March 21st my mother, Dolores was sent to your facility, she arrived at 11:30 a.m. and was already working with PT & OT ,your rehab facility didn't hesitate to get her up and walking, standing, working with her hands & building up her strength...we hit a few bumps , but nothing that wasn't resolved! A BIG thank you to Cindy and Ty for addressing any issues we had, both made my mother fell comfortable during her stay!!!! The staff& employees were nice,One Aide in particular needs recognition, "ROSA" she went above and beyond in comforting my mother whenever her anxiety got the best of her...we need 10 more like her!!! We were always greeted with a smile. The cooks were amazing, my mother had no problem with any meals, she said they were made to perfection!!! Thank you again to each and everyone at Statesman, job well done! Dolores

Staff is pleasant enough, however my sis went in the hospital with lung problems then to Statesman to get strong enough to walk & go home. They have changed her psych meds for no valid reason I can thing of & now she is practically catatonic. I can't tell you how angry i am.

My mom has been at Statesman Health and Rehabilitation Center since March 2013. It is OK, it doesn't look like a dirty place or anything, but it is old. There are three other people in the room and there is one bathroom for everybody. There is no privacy at all, like there are two TVs in the room turned on all the time, so there is never any quiet, and they can't put music on for my mom because there is the TV playing. The food is OK. I think they have Bible study, and they paint their nails, but I guess there are fewer activities because there are a lot of people there who are extremely sick and cannot do a whole lot.

I had a relative staying in this facility for what was supposed to rehab from a fall. From the first day she entered the facility we had problems with the level of care she received. They were grossly under staffed for the rehab treatment facility. They were also very uncaring people from the cleaning staff right through the physical therapist they just didn't care about the patience. There was a heat wave and the rooms were kept at a coll 90 plus degrees with someone always working on the air conditioners in all of the rooms. We finally had to call 911 because they left the relative I refer to with a terrible staff infection and bed sores.

This is absolutely NOT the place you would want your LOVED ones going to... My Grandfather was here, he had altymers, & could no longer function at home safely. We thought we brought him to the best place in Bucks Co. as we were told they do so much for their patients... Well.. LOOKS good on the OUTSIDE... SUPER SCARY ON THE INSIDE when you see how many UNHAPPY PEOPLE whom are NOT CARED for properly.. Listen to HOW MANY HORROR STORIES this place has.. More people should COME FORWARD & Get this place either CLOSED DOWN... Or bring their staff up to PAR.. to a more CARING & PROFESSIONAL LEVEL... My absolutely unselfish, most caring Grandfather was put into a Room with a man whom had extremely dangerous mental state! Was very violent & he literally BEAT THE CRAP out of my Poor Harmeless, Grandfather, whom was bed ridden & could NOT fight back.. this man left him BATTERED & BRUISED...& he was KNOCKED to the FLOOR! When we were told about this from an unnamed worker, we were livid! When we brought this to the attention of the people in charge, they denied any wrong doing! No one would admit what happened, only a nurse had said Grandpop was Screaming & Yelling HELP!!! & no one came to his AID until after they did their rounds & found him on the floor... A Nurse had called & told us what happened... Then a couple weeks later he was left in the shower by himself, falling on the floor with the water still running as they found him HELPLESSLY laying in a puddle of water, huddled near the toilet crying for help.. The MENTAL & PHYSICAL ABUSE that this innocent man took was non human, unammaginable, unacceptable, etc... shortly thereafter... GRANDPOP DIED!!! He cried for weeks, crying & crying, & crying, because of the MENTAL ANQUISH, uncaring help he had been given. This man DIED HEARTBROKEN, & the FAMILY HEARTBROKEN that a place could even do this to another human... Please anyone & everyone won't you post your HORROR STORY, if you have encountered something in the same manor, as such a place should NOT EXIST!!!

Statesmen Health & Rehabiliation Center is both a short term rehabiliation center and a long-term nursing home located in Levittown, PA. Several years ago, we were searching for a nursing home for my grandfather, and Statesman seemed like it would be the right choice with the various services and activities it offered for its patients. However, we were dead wrong. First, my grandfather would complain that the nurses would not answer and come to his room when he rang them. Sure, my grandfather could be a very stubborn and persistent man, but it seemed like the nurses just were too annoyed by him and did not want to deal with him- yet is that not what they are getting paid for?? Then, my aunts and my father (my grandfather's children) came in the center one night and asked how he was doing. The nurse told them he was resting in bed comfortably. However, my aunt felt uncomfortable and decided to check on him anyway. She came into the room, only to see my grandfather slouched half off the bed with his legs dangling and his feet touching the floor. Another incident we had with this place was when a nurse was helping my grandfather walk across the room, but he had lost his balance and must have put his hand on her backside to try to stop himself from falling. Yet, the nurse did not even consider that my grandfather was just getting weaker and weaker, and insisted that he had inappropriately touched her. Yes, as if he was in the mood for that kind of the thing in the condition he was in? My grandfather ended up dying in Statesman, but to this day I feel terrible that he had to die in a place where people didn't seem to care less about him. I would NEVER recommend anyone to place their loved ones in a facility of such heartless people, such as the nurses at Statesman.
