Meadowview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is excellent. I like it. They are friendly. They call us and give us information about what's going on with my brother, and they're just nice people. He said the people treat him nice, and his room is fine. He takes therapy and stuff like that. The facility is also clean.

rooms are like the food DISGUSTING!!!! The aids are horrible and cruel. they pay no attention to the patients because they are all hiding with their phones and ignoring the call bells. The therapies are mostly sub par with alot of time utilized talking and no therapy. They need to close this place down. Bring the dept of health and scrape the place of all the lazy workers and the people who are calling that slop they serve, food. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP.

We ended up sending my mom to Meadowview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. They're pretty good clinical-wise, they make sure the medications are sent out. I've noticed that the care for my mom has been very low and the response is not very strong. They don't let her keep meals longer than approximately 20 minutes, and a lot of times she can't eat that quickly, so she hasn't been really eating that much. The bed has deflated at least once on her, and it was four hours before they could fill it back up because it's an air mattress. From what she has said, they are very mediocre when it comes to helping with cleaning her. I found leftover containers of food that were there from days before that they didn't clean up. The staff is very informative, they just don't seem to have very good bedside manners. They're trying to get the job done and everything is taken care of, but they're not very attentive. I've been bringing my own food because she says she doesn't like it. She'd usually have a two-ounce container of milk and she'll have a serving of Jell-O, and that's pretty much her influx of food there. I noticed some mold growing in the corners of the closet and above my mom's bed. Her nurse's call button was broken half the time, and they were very short with her because she kept calling over the phone line to get help. Also, she wasn't really getting the counselor activity that she was expecting, to discuss everything that's been going on with her. They came in a couple of times, but it wasn't as productive as my mom was hoping for. She wasn't getting one-on-one time, it's more like five minutes and just a touch base kind of thing. The cost wasn't too high, it wasn't too low, it was just standardized. When I was away on vacation, they switched her from her primary care to Medicare.

This place should be shut down-they won't answer phones at all so you have no clue how your love one is doing-horrible social service rooms so out dated -dangerous bathrooms no emergency cord - dirty tables and floor stay away

I came to visit my uncle which I don't do often because I don't like seeing him that way. Any who....I will say that the smell in the living quarters is very overwhelming. I only lasted 20 mins before I had to exit to get some fresh air. The front desk staff was very friendly but the staff members in the back not so much. I had some concerns that I addressed with the staff member and she told me she would be in the room to take care of it. 45 mins later she was still standing in the same place she was when I asked. I totally get that this is a business and work has to be done but 5 mins to address my concerns isn't much to ask for. Especially seeing as this is a For Profit organization. Just seems like they don't care about their patients the way they should. People depend on places like this to take care of family members when they are unable to provide the care for them. A few other smalls things his bed condition is not up to standards. It appearances to be broken. This facility has one of the lowest ratings in care, staffing and treatment. If it was up to me (which it isnt) I would have him moved immediately. My advice if this is all you can afford for your family member please visit and check on them to make sure they are getting cared for properly but if you can afford it....Please look for another place.

The Ridge at Whitemarsh was great. My friend has his own private room, and they had a menu he can pick from every day. They had a therapist coming in every day. They really took good care of him, and it was more of a one on one thing.

I stayed at this place for one night and that was one night too many. the admissions person came and saw me on the hospital and told me the building had recently been renovated they had a new head nurse and I would receive great care. I got none of those things I was given a private room that the night nursing staff told me was against the rules and they could put in a roommate any damn time they pleased. Little did I know I had many roommates the room was infested with mice and roaches. When I asked the very drugged out nurse for my Dr. prescribed medication I was told I wouldn't receive it until the morning so I mused two dose. The expereinceclimaxed for myself in the morning when the head of Andorra Woods nursing came to my room dressed like she was about to go to the club and made me feel as if I shouldn't complain. I never received any apology from her. The social worker was great she helped me move to another building where I am now and trying to forget my night in the twilight zone

After visiting my mother, who was admittitted to Andorra Woods last week, I am happy to see she doing well and in very good hands. I was informed that the location has new owners with a strong, positive reputation in the long term care industry. They have hired a new nursing leadership team and are completely renovating the building. It was so much nicer than I had imagined.

My Father was in Andorra for about three weeks to a month before he passed away. We liked how attentive they were to my father at that time. We also liked that they have men on the staff, which was needed by my father. The room were very clean and there was always maintenance going on. He was undergoing therapy, and he did a lot of group activities. He was always eating the food that was fed to him.

This place is horrible. The nurses have poor attitudes and the residents are not treated well. The place is at most times dirty, and smells bad. The nurses are mostly lazy and ignore residents. I would NEVER send family there. It should be shut down

my relative has been a permanent resident for over a year. Some of the Staff are wonderful but the others need to move On with their lives and find a job they like. Residents are ignored after trying to call for help for quite a while. The resident's personal clothing is always missing, some things have been stolen and never returned. I wish they would have more activities for those who don't see well or hear well enough to participate with those that do. My relative can not feed herself. Tey will not always help her so most of the time the food is on the floor or her clothing, not to mention she is not getting adequate nourishment. I think they are understaffed or have too many staff that just don't want to so a better job.

Most of the administrative staff was friendly (receptionist, social workers) but many of the nurses were not as friendly and did not give patients proper care when they needed it. Patients were ignored sometimes and the resident I was related to complained about being talked down to. Patients could have been kept cleaner and hygiene was not always kept up with. The resident I was related to was not showered every day or even every week sometimes. They would rather put a diaper on him than take him to the bathroom, even if he wanted to. Sometimes clothes were not washed before being put on the patient again. The inside facilities could have been kept cleaner and smelled better but the outside of the place was nice and spacious and had places for the residents to sit. They had nice activities for the residents to participate in every day. My relative enjoyed some of them but maybe they could have more of a variety of activities or guests.

As I walked in here, I went past two machine-operated glass doors indicating to me close attention to security. Interior also felt very homely and colorful. I can definately see myself retiring to such a place.
