My mother is living in Edgehill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pennsylvania. I don't really know that much because she just moved there, but our experience has been very good. They answer their phone promptly, and if I have any questions, they are happy to answer them. The woman that does the intake is going to help me fill out the medical assistance forms. The nurses seem very nice. It's a small center, and it's close to where my cousin lives. There are a lot of positive things. They have her on a diet that is puréed, so it's not very delicious looking. I haven't been in there; nobody is allowed in. The value for the money is very good. They do physical therapy and occupational therapy, and they do hospice care. They do CAT scans there, and they have a doctor.

I have been periodically visiting this nursing home for the past 6 years. The staff have always been very attentive to the needs of my grandparents. There are several nurses and certified nursing assistants there that have developed very good relationships with my family. We are always quickly notified of any changes in the health status of my grandparents. They have a very good activities department. While my grandparents were still cognitive enough to participate in the activities, they were always very entertained and engaged. We never had any issues with staffing. The facility always seemed equipped with enough staff to meet the needs of the residents at any given time. It is a smaller facility so it is easier for residents to receive more individualized and attentive care. The residents always appeared clean and well cared for. The unit itself was always clean and free from bad odors or clutter in the hallways. So far I have had no reason to be dissatisfied with this nursing home.
