I visited this facility

The people at Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley were fantastic. When we walked in the door for our tour, there was a sign welcoming us with my name on it. I was very impressed. There were two dogs there that day on the first floor that were very friendly and upstairs, there was a big fat cat in residence. It was nice. We went through and went into the lady's office first. She talked to us and told us a lot of things. Then we toured the rooms. We liked everything. It was well-kept and clean. ...

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My sister is a resident of Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley. The choice was made because the availability was there. This facility mirrors the sentiments and the things that I saw in the communities that I liked where there is just real compassion for the people who are there and a willingness to meet them on their level. They try and connect with them instead of trying to make that individual connect with them. I only visited her once and I was there for about an hour and a half yesterday...

My dad was at Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley for a little while. That place was dirty, but the employees were really nice and very good. When you first came in, the hallways seemed dark. He was supposed to be getting the level three assisted care, and he was actually getting level one. They weren't doing anything extra for him, like helping him down to the dining room and other stuff that we're expecting them to help him with. They had some activities, like bingo, but it seemed like they d...

I visited this facility

I toured Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley. I went first to see what it was like because I wouldn't put my friend somewhere where I wouldn't want to be and then I took her to see it too. I thought it was very nice, the people were pleasant and the staff was very nice. I liked everything about it. They had games and I loved the dining room, it was very nice. The room I saw was beautiful. I looked at assisted living. The COVID thing was there so they didn't have visitors or anyone sitting in t...

There is no “care” in the “Memory Care” unit. This place is where you put your loved one to rot away. The sales staff tell you about how they engage your loved one, but the reality is that their rooms are filthy, they don’t get proper medical care, and unless you personally are there every week to make sure your loved one is getting any kind of care beyond some food pushed in front of them, you’re being deceived. I can’t wait to move my father to a place that can actually take care of him. I t...

I visited this facility

I toured Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley for my mom and they seemed very knowledgeable. They gave me the ratio right off. Another thing I liked about them is that they have a nurse on staff 24 hours a day, where the others that I toured did not. This facility was nice, and I just liked their programming. I saw the staff interacting with the residents. The place is nice and clean. I guess they're periodically renovating, or I should say upgrading some of the rooms. I saw a room that somebo...

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My friend moved into Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley. She definitely needed assisted living as she was falling. We checked several other places that were more expensive, so the value was quite good. They had a lock-in which was very attractive because she could lock into a price per month, and it will never go up. Whereas many of the places have 4% or 5% and some as high as 8% increases and that was an issue. So, she knows what her cost is in the future. Rittenhouse Village backs right up o...

I visited this facility

I did go down to Rittenhouse Village, which is a very nice facility. Jennifer was super nice. The overall atmosphere was just great. The facility was nice-looking and the rooms were nice and bright. They were re-doing the room that I saw. They had a beautiful porch outside. When I went there, it was a nice day and I just felt like sitting down and relaxing on their beautiful covered porch. It was really nice.

My father moved into Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley, and my mother is due to move in in soon. So far, it's fine. I like that it's on the small side. It's a little easier to get accustomed to. The people I've dealt with are very helpful so far. His room seems fine. It's a nice, quiet setting. It's kind of off the beaten track, so it doesn't have a lot of things going on, on the outside, for distraction. He seems to be OK with the food. The facility seems very nice and clean, has a nice layo...

I visited this facility

We did an in-person tour at Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley, but we stayed outside the whole time. We sat on a patio, and it was nicely-kept. The areas that I could see through the windows were nice and clean. The staff member who gave the tour was very informative and very understanding with the questions and concerns that I had. There were no visitors, and if it came to the point of visiting, it would be a half-hour visit with the resident on the patio, with a no-touch policy, and should ...

I saw both the assisted living and memory care of Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley for my mother-in-law. I like what I saw. The location would have been much more convenient for everyone to visit her. The people that we met there were very nice; however, I wasn't there long enough to see their activities. I like this place. Their apartments were very nice. Some of them were 2-bedrooms. I did not see any locked doors within the memory care.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother-in-law is now at Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley. It is clean. The dining room is upscale. I don't really have anything bad to say about it as yet other than the nursing staff responding to the call bell at night is a little slow. Other than that, I'm really very happy with it. My mother-in-law goes to bingo, and when they have musical entertainment, she goes to that, too. They also have some crafty entertainment. The apartment is lovely and spacious. I'm happy with that. The bath...

Beautiful place! Bright, clean, tastefully decorated. Staff is amazing, caring, genuinely concerned about your family members wellbeing. The communication is spot on. The call bells are answered immediately. I cannot say enough about how much we love this place. My father is happy, well taken care of, and we have piece of mind knowing he is safe, comfortable, and treated with respect and love.

Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley was very personable, very professional, and caring. The woman who took me around was very kind. She knew the residents we ran into by name. She made a point to stop for a minute to see how they were. It felt good. I really wanted to move my dad there. My first impression of the place was excellent. The staff was very professional but still kind, warm, and welcoming. I love the layout of the rooms. It was immaculate. She said they were going to renovate two of...

I am a friend of a resident. She's been there for several years and loves it. The staff are kind and responsive to her needs. She needs a lot of help. If you have a loved one who needs a place I strongly recommend this community!

It was gorgeous, close to the hospital, and had a cute dog that walked around. However, it was too far from us. It seemed a little more upscale and had fancy napkins on the table. The staff I talked to was very nice, confident, and caring.

I visited this facility

We visited several places, but my aunt favored this community. It was so much nicer. It was very clean. The people were nicer also and they were more professional. The residents themselves were so friendly. The rooms were a very nice size. They had a nice bathroom with a shower. They had a little efficiency kitchen in them even though they had the dining room downstairs. Their dining area was very bright and cheery. It reminded you of a beautiful hotel. When we came there around 10:30 in the mor...

My father-in-law was here for a month, and they were very nice. It was very clean, and I thought it was a great place. The rooms were large. I would say that the care was very good.

The community is wonderful. The food is fabulous, and the staff is OK. My mother-in-law needs little to no care. They've been OK. It's been better since she has adjusted. She has mild dementia, so she really thinks of it as home now. She's very happy. They have daily exercise activities, pet therapy, and outings to different restaurants and different department stores. They have very nice socials.
