I toured Above All Senior Living. As soon as I walked in I felt the friendly atmosphere of the place. The place was very clean and that was one thing I was looking for since I walked in. Even the eating area was clean. I asked the other people living there how the food was. Everybody said it was excellent. So I did meet the cook and I did talk to the cook a little bit. It sounds pretty good. The rooms were big. The rooms were nice. The person who gave the tour was very polite and very nice.

When you first walked into Above All Senior Living, the presentation of the place didn't look good. It wasn't up to par. The furniture when you walked in looked like it was old. You can see that it needed a lot of work like they had stuff going on that needed repair and needed to get done. It would be acceptable to some people, but it wasn't what I would want my mother to have. They should keep the place up to standard. They bring in 30 people there and each gives $2500 a month. So, that's 75,000 a month, but the conditions that those places are in shouldn't be that way for the money that's coming in there. They should be better well-kept.

They are fabulous. It is a great place. I am so glad that we took mom there. They are very caring, she is safe and happy, and they are great people. The food is wonderful; it is all homemade.

My mother-in-law is a resident here. The office staff and wellness staff (in particular the woman on day shift at the front desk) are excellent and know me/us and who I am related to---they are very helpful, accomodating and caring and really work with us to provide the best possible care for her. The aides do a good job of personally caring for her too.
