I am presently residing in Raleigh Hills Assisted Living. The staff here is very wonderful. I am having kidney dialysis three times a week and they do everything for me; they provide all the services that I need. They have a trained chef as well as a baker and we have wonderful food. I have a studio apartment with a big walk in closet. There are lots of activities here.

The facility was nicely set up and the staff was very professional and attentive to the patients. The patients had a few nice amenities set up in their common room such as a pool table and television for watching TV and movies. However, this room was pretty small and in my opinion the residents didn't have enough time set aside for group games and activities. The only group activity I ever saw set up for the residents was movie time on some Saturdays or Sundays. The general feeling of the facility was mundane and unexciting the majority of the time. Staff members did not seem to go out of their way to interact with residents and were not especially friendly overall in their interactions with the residents or me. I noticed residents having the most fun while engaging in one-on-one activities with myself. The two residents who I spent the most one-on-one time with seemed to look forward to these weekly interactions. I got to know them on a much more personal level than the other residents just by chatting over a game of cards or pool. The residents' rooms appeared very comfortable, but I can only describe that based on having seen inside a couple of them from the hallway. Overall, I enjoyed my time here but wished the residents had more staff interaction and exciting activities to engage in.

Raleigh Hill Assisted Living is a perfect place to stay. My Grandfather has been staying there for years and finds it very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The rooms are also very nice and kept clean and how the residents like them. The also have a special care unit for people with Alzheimers, which is great for my Grandpa. They have staff that understanding his illness completely, and can help support us family through this difficult time. They also have a beautiful dining area that my Grandma finds to be very elegant. In addition to all this they have fun (but safe) activities for the residents to do daily. They will also do activities that residents suggest, and don't stick to their planned schedule if the residents want to do something else. They are very flexible and accommodating. My Grandfather has been at other Assisted Living Facility that he disliked very much. Since living here he has been much happier, and plans on staying here until he passes. Over all, Raleigh Hills is highly suggested!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Raliegh Hills assisted living center. I volunteered there for a summer, and I found the staff that works there to be quite warm and friendly. I worked with the activities director to help plan and follow through with activities for the residents. On an average day, there are usually at least 4 different activities put on by the activities director for the residents. The staff at Raliegh Hills does an excellent job of thinking up fun activities for their residents to partake in if they wish. The two most popular activities at Raliegh Hills are definitely bingo and arts/crafts activities. Apart from the activities department, Raliegh Hills also excels with its resident care. Residents get to choose from a wide variety of different foods for each of their meals, and are waited on by waiter/waitresses who make sure all their needs are met. Raliegh Hills also has trained care professionals who give the resident the dignity they deserve with the help they need.Overall, Raliegh Hills is an excellent assisted living center that provides its residents with the help they need while still allowing them to enjoy the things they love.
