Prestige Senior Living in Beaverton Hills was fine. It just wasn't the right fit for what we were looking for. We only met two people, and they were fine. One was very knowledgeable about what they offered and was enthusiastic. The other one seemed like she was a little bit newer to the community. We went into one empty room, and it was okay.

I thought Prestige Senior Living Beaverton Hills was dreary. The room size was nice, but it did not seem like a very active community. The dining room was very basic. They have a limited amount of activities. The staff seemed very nice.

I toured the facility looking for my mother and found the place rather dreary and quiet. It was not bubbling with activity and happy seniors. The activity areas were very small, indicating that participation is low. The dining room is a spacious plain box of a room that I would liken to a Denny's. There are many add on fees that you need to be aware of as you are estimating your monthly outlay of funds. If you keep looking, you'll find that there are a wide variety of options out there with varying price points. In this case, we found a beautiful, upscale senior living facility for my mother that cost 15% less and we are very happy with the choice.

Prestige Senior Living Beaverton Hills was nice. I liked it. It was very clean. It seemed homey. I like that the residents have their own apartments and they have them decorate their doors and windows to personalize them. The staff was very helpful and understanding about the process of trying to talk to our dad about this change in his life because he's not understanding that he needs to move or have more help. I liked the staff a lot; he's very personable. The room was nice and the size was good. We looked at a one-bedroom and the layout was nice. It had good storage for being a smaller apartment. The bathroom had a good setup. I thought it was a good place. I wouldn't mind living in some place like that. We only talked to one gentleman, and he took a lot of time with us.

We visited Prestige Senior Living Beaverton Hills. We love the layout. It was really conducive to people mingling. They have a common kind of courtyard and all apartments face out onto it. It just seems like a place where it's really easy for people to get out and be interactive. Also, in the community, a lot of people have their doors open. It sorta felt friendly, and people seemed very involved and very inclusive. We really liked the Prestige. We met one staff member. He was great. He was passionate and committed.

I thought Prestige Senior Living Beaverton Hills was excellent. It seemed like a nice place like it was set up well. The person who assisted me was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything going on when we were there. They had lectures and physical activities. They had things structured to stimulate residents cognitively like they had game shows that they put on, which I thought was cute. They are adjacent to a park where they've created a wheelchair-accessible path, which I thought was great. It's a nice place.

I have nothing but rave reviews for Prestige Senior Living Beaverton Hills. It's clearly, hands down, the nicest assisted living community I have ever witnessed. A big reason why my mom became comfortable there fairly quickly was because it's just a nice looking place. They have all 1-bedroom apartments for the residents and it feels kind of a ski-lodge. It's just a pleasant physical environment. The staff has so far been good, every interaction I have had with them has been productive and positive. My experience with the food there is fairly positive, though my mom complains about the food, she would have complained about that most places. I sat down with her and had a meal there, I looked at the menu and we talked to the kitchen manager who's amazing. She has not yet availed of the activities, and they're curtailing as many gatherings as they can because of the coronavirus. The transition has been easier than I had anticipated, we've got a lot of good help from the people there. They're lovely people, a little quirky, but so far they have gone above and beyond to help get mom integrated.

Prestige Senior Living’s facility has one-bedrooms. We need two-bedrooms, and if we’d known that before, I wouldn’t even have made the appointment there. The staff was friendly. I noticed a few activities, but it didn’t seem like they had very much going on, quite frankly. The location of it was in a nice and lovely residential district.

We're putting my mom in Prestige. They have all the activities my mom likes, theater, bingo, church, and Communion. The location is also great for us. The staff is wonderful and very organized. Everything's been wonderful, and the pricing is just right. The dining area was very nice. They have a chef on staff. I haven't really eaten the food yet, but it smelled really good. The rooms are very nice and large, and they have small and large one-bedrooms available.

My daughter’s mother-in-law was at the Prestige at Beaverton, so my brother and I went there for my mother. It was so dark and gloomy; we could hardly get out of there fast enough. And yet, my daughter’s mother-in-law just loved it. The room was huge, and the price was reasonable, but it didn’t feel homey at all.

Strengths: variety of room sizes. Open lodge like common areas. Weaknesses: Staff turnover, poor communication, mediocre food, questionable medication administration, front desk staff not always present, late night non emergency calls. Do your research. Check out numerous other facilities.

My mother-in-law is in Beaverton Hills Assisted Living. They have a good chef and their food is excellent. It's a typical but friendly environment. They have a gym and they do yoga as well.

I was a little worried about the facility, since it seems to be tucked away behind a strip mall. My first impressions were confirmed when I went inside and saw the dismal furniture and lighting and was really dismayed by how run-down the place seemed. The residents seemed happy, and the staff was gracious and courteous, but I couldn't get over the smell. I'd want my mom to be somewhere I thought she'd be happy and this wasn't it.

I like Beaverton Hills a lot. It was very neat, clean, and beautiful facility. They have a bus that will take you to your doctor's appointment, grocery shopping or anything that's connected with assisted living. You can have pets there they said it's not a problem. I have three little dachshunds. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the dining room or you can have a microwave and you can fix yourself something in your own little place. The rooms were very nice with huge walk-in closets, everything carpeted, everything is virtually clean, and you can have your own furniture. They take my husband's VA and part of my social security to pay for it. Everybody there was very nice. The patients were smiling and waving at me. But I have no desire to go there yet, far away from Newberg because all of my doctors and everything are here. I had lunch there, the food was delicious. Dining room was huge with lots of windows to look out. I was extremely impressed.
