My wife is now in Edgewood Point Assisted Living, and it's quite satisfactory. The food is good, and the care is good. It's not exceptional, but it's quite satisfactory. They have two people per room, and it's an ordinary room. They have a lot of activities.

I toured Edgewood Point Assisted Living. It was clean, and they were very friendly. We decided that we wanted to do something smaller. We wanted to put my mother-in-law in a place where she would just get a little bit more individualized care. I didn't see any activities, but the dining area looked nice and accessible. People seem to be enjoying their time chatting with each other. The staff was nice.

Edgewood Point Assisted Living was bright and clean. The person who gave us the tour was great. She could answer all of our questions and didn't ever seem hurried. They treat their residents like family, which is important when you're putting a family member in a care facility. She was very knowledgeable and personable. They had three chefs there for meals and that's kind of amazing. They had a hair salon where you could make appointments. They didn't have as good of a recreation room with exercise equipment, which would have been important. The only reason we were a little leery about that one was because it's right across the street from a golf course and my husband was a golfer and I wouldn't want him wandering out and deciding he'd like to go do golf. So, we kind of had to rule that one out just because of location, but all the other stuff was great. They had single apartments that had separate bedrooms, but then they had just like studios, too. The facility, the meal preparation, all that kind of stuff, were excellent. It was very nice. It didn't have as homey a feeling as the other facility we went to, but that doesn't make it a bad thing. Some people prefer it to not look homey.

I have toured Edgewood Point Assisted Living. I like the location, it was fairly close to where I live, and the people were super nice. It's just outside my price range. The apartments had their own bathroom. They showed me one that had an efficiency kitchen and a studio. The rooms had their appliances, you just have to bring your own bed, stuff, and furniture. The staff member who gave me the tour was super nice. She said I could try the food, but I didn't want to because I already knew I couldn't afford the place. They provide three meals a day. There was a little outdoor courtyard-type area. They have one section for memory care that has its own outdoors, and then they have the regular living portion that has its own outdoor facility as well. They have somebody come in twice a week and do exercise with the people there, there's a lot of classes like a music class, singing, and so on.

I liked that Edgewood Point Assisted Living was small and I saw staff interacting with the residents. I didn't have anything negative to say about it. I saw the dining area, but I didn't see anything about the menu. The dining area looked nice. People were out and about, but I didn't see any organized activity. They showed me a calendar and there was stuff in there every day.

Edgewood Point Assisted Living was a very nice facility and it was reasonably close. I toured the memory care area and the people there were caring, friendly, and very helpful. They answered all my questions and even some of the questions I didn't know I even had. They had outdoor space for them. There was no smell. Everything looked clean.

Edgewood Point Assisted Living was an older facility. The rooms that they had were shared. It didn't have the feeling that it was clean, maybe because it's an old facility. But overall, it was fine. The staff was helpful and it looked like they were caring toward the residents there. I could tell that they were busy because they didn't spend as much time with me as the others did in the other places I toured. There was a small courtyard and a cafeteria, but that's about what I saw. The memory care side was a fairly small section of the facility.

I toured Edgewood Point Senior Living and I liked it a lot. The place seemed to be very quiet. The lady who gave us the tour was perfect for her job. I liked her a lot. They seemed to understand the psychological considerations of the patients, trying to make them feel they have some control over their lives. The rooms that I saw were big. They were allowed to decorate their room however they want and to personalize the room to their taste. The dining room looked nice. They have a library. They had a pool table there but somehow it had been damaged, and I think my brother would be interested in the pool table. The residents were playing bingo when I went there and it seemed fun. Some residents were playing bocce ball. They bring pets in once a week for pet therapy. They were also allowed to have animals there. They have a bus where they take you to certain events around town. I liked the fact that you're like on your own but you're not. You have the privacy of your own apartment. You can stay there if you want or participate in the activities if you want to. I did not get that institutional feel. I got that 'you are still in control of your life kind of feeling.

Edgewood Point Assisted Living had very friendly staff. It was in a nice location. The residents were friendly. They had nicely equipped rooms. The 1-bedroom was very clean with a good-sized bedroom, a nice shower, and a nice kitchenette. They showed me the calendar of activities and the different facilities that they have.

My mother is at Edgewood Point. They are attentive to everybody there. It is a very personable community and feels like home. My mom really likes it there. They have plenty of games, eye-hand coordination activities, and crafts to keep them busy. The facility has very tall ceilings, an upstairs and a downstairs, and a community room surrounded by windows. They have birds, squirrels, and resident cats, so residents can intermingle with them, too. There's a well-organized, full schedule of activities, including live music and Sunday services. They have a resident nurse there all of the time. The staff would take them to doctors' visits and any other appointments, if needed. My mother likes it, which is the main thing.

We had mom at Edgewood Point for a couple of weeks only, but it was a wonderful place. They seemed to be very good about caring for people and it was a nice and clean facility. They treated mom very well and even though she wasn’t thrilled to be there, they still tried to work very well with her. Her room was nice. Mom was able to participate in a lot of things even for her short stay. We were not able to eat there, but mom seemed to like it because she was able to eat all the food that was given to her.
