My aunt was in Glendora nursing home, fighting cancer, they really do care for the residence as if their family. I know other facilities say that, but it’s true about this one. My aunt loved it there, she was well taken care of and so happy and comfortable. The staff was so helpful and caring and loving all the time, it made every day my aunt was there wonderful for her. The physical therapy staff helped her to walk again and gave her so much encouragement . She eventually lost her fight with cancer. One of the most wonderful things is everyone there was still just as caring and loving toward my husband and myself during our time of grieving and loss. If you love your loved one, take them there and let them be loved by the people at Glendora care center it’s a Mercy and a Blessing from God.

The staff at Glendora Health Care Center has been great to mom. Like every other place, I think they're short-staffed, but the care has been good. Her room is pretty basic. She has her TV, dresser, bed, and her bathroom. It could be a shared room but nobody has been in there with her. They have some random things that they do there. They've had singers come in, and there's some outdoors where they can go out and sit. They do all the little games and stuff. It's just an older place.

Glendora Health Care Center was a small nursing home, and the location was good for all of us. As soon as we had a meeting with the staff, the nurses, and the therapists, it just seemed like a good fit for Mom and Dad. They are undergoing therapy there, and the staff is great. They treat Mom and Dad really nicely. My dad loves them all; that's why I think they're really good to them. They serve breakfast, lunch, and supper. The doctor comes to them, and they have transportation if they have to go out.

Glendora Health is doing a great job. My parents are very unable to do anything for themselves anymore, and I think they’re getting very good care. No complaints. The staff is very friendly, and the aides in the cafeteria get around and help the ones that need help.

I initially put my husband at Glendora Health Care Center for about a week or two. They had excellent staff. They were very, very nice people. However, I feel they should improve on remodeling the place. It's old. The rooms were like bedrooms and they're older. I also did not like that my husband was just in bed all day. That was not really good for him. He did like their food there though. I just wanted my husband to have a more homey and comfortable environment so I moved him where he is now.

My mother-in-law was a resident of the Glendora facility in the month preceding her death. She was already under hospice care at the time she moved into the facility, so we knew her time there would be relatively brief. One of the things that I especially liked about the facility was that it had a very calm atmosphere. So many of the other facilities we looked at seemed frenetic at times, with staff rushing around to get residents to activities or the dining hall. I also found the staff to be exceptionally caring. My mother-in-law had become frightened of being alone at night, and the staff dealt with her fears in a very compassionate and effective way. We did have one bad experience with an expensive piece of my mother-in-law's personal furniture (a lift chair) being damaged due to the carelessness of a staff person. Overall, however, our experience was positive.
