I had a hip replacement and was in Otterbein House 105 for rehab and was there for 13 days. MY entire stay at Otterbein was a very pleasant one. Each one of the staff members in the house, aides/staff nurses, and therapists were only FABULOUS to me. They listened to my concerns, tended to my needs and helped me help myself. I did not want to be in rehab however the staff worked with me to be successful in returning home. I would highly recommend Otterbein Middletown to anyone that needs help in rehab or for nursing. Ask for House 105 because they are the BEST! They cook the food on site, do the laundry, clean the rooms and make sure that you do not go without anything you may need.

My husband was a temporary resident for therapy. The staff was nice, friendly and accommodative. Their therapist were great and informative. From the office on down, great experience.

My dad is at Otterbein Middletown SeniorLife Neighborhood for rehab. I like the cottage setup. Everyone is like family. It is a clean place. They are very attentive, and it's very care-centric. It is a great place. I wish he could stay there. They care about my dad. They prepare the meals in each cottage. They keep my dad engaged. They have activities for skilled care, like they do for long-term care, but that may not be applicable to my dad's situation. It is family-style, so it is comfortable and very homey. They keep it very clean and bright. My dad's insurance is covering it 100%. He is getting whatever his insurance is paying for.

Otterbein Middletown SeniorLife Neighborhood has been good, but they're a little out of our price range. My mother has been there a few times. The staff does a good job. They cook the food right there in the great room. It's all homemade and Mom really liked the food. The facility is very clean and very well taken care of. Her room is small. It's just one room with a hallway and a bathroom. They're set up where they got individual houses. They have sitting areas and stuff that opens up from the great room. It's got patio furniture and stuff. I believe it has outdoor areas if people want to go outside. Otterbein is hard to beat. The only drawback is the price. The prices are kind of high. It's $9,000 a month and that's a lot.

My father is in Otterbein Skilled Nursing & Rehab - Middletown. It looks great and they seem very caring. We're pleased with it. It has physical therapy. He doesn't participate in a lot of the activities. He went and listened to music a few times. He enjoys the food there.
