Autumn Aegis seems to take really good care of my aunt. They have a lot of caring people that work there. They go out of their way at times to deal with her, because sometimes she can be a little difficult. She's been happy there and she gets a pretty well-balanced meal. The nurses are fantastic. They are very caring and compassionate. When I speak to the aides about something, they get right on it and take care of it, too. I like that they have quite a few different activities and she loves to go to most of them, from playing different games to doing crafts, music, having some beverages and snacks, exercises, and playing bingo. The building could use some refreshments and decorations though.

Due to the current pandemic, I recently removed my mother from Autumn Aegis Nursing Home. (My choice) My mother had been there over 4yrs. Me and My kids had grown to know many of the staff and patients. I love the staff and how they make you feel apart, the activities and parties are great. If my mom should need to be facilitated again this place will be my first choice without any hesitation, everyone is family at Autumn Aegis.

This place is terrible!!! Family member has been there for a few months and gets treated like crap! Does not get bathe properly or sometimes at all. Needles left in arm until bleeding(will not change or put new dressing on) will not listen to the needs,or even care about family member. Like I said place is a joke! Do not bring loved ones here!!!

I would give it zero stars if I could. They treat their patients like "meal tickets" and refuse to let them leave even if they are capable. If they have state/government issued health insurance they hold it over their patients heads threatening to have their insurance canceled if they leave. My mother is there currently and they are not keeping me informed, they are making decisions with my aunt even though I'm her next of kin. The STNA's are caring but the doctors/practitioners and majority of other employees are rude. The food is horrible, my mother hates it. I wouldn't feed it to my dog.

Mom was at Autumn Aegis for about a month and the experience was awful. I would not send my dog there, ever. The people were nice, but it was just the facility itself. I definitely would not recommend this place. Mom hated the food and that was the main reason she wasn’t happy. It was terrible. I think they need to follow through and keep in touch with the family; letting us know how she is progressing. I had to actually call for a meeting three weeks after my mom was there just to see how she was progressing.

My mom was at Autumn Aegis a year ago and she had her rehab there for two weeks. Aside from their nursing home, they also have an assisted living facility. The facility was pretty and clean. At that time, their location was convenient for me too. I was working almost across the street from it, so I was able to go and visit her there. During my mom's rehab, they treated her quite well, she just wasn't happy being in a nursing home.

I only met a few of the nurses, but they always made my great grandmother comfortable and she was never irritable or angry with them (on her good days). I may not be comfortable in nursing homes, but Autumn Aegis is a great place to spend the last years of your life. It is very open, very friendly, and even the food was good!

My experience at this facility was overall good. The staff was very friendly and directed me to where I needed to go without any hesitation, and they also answered any and all questions that I had. Some of the staff, such as the assistant caretakers or volunteers were slightly rude, but I only saw them wheeling patients from their rooms to outside. The whole building and surrounding area were very well-kept and the inside was also very clean and sanitary. The typical 'hospital' smell was not there, which was a relief. Overall, Autumn Aegis was a nice experience.
