I'm moving into One Lincoln Park. I knew somebody two years ago that lived there. I would visit her, but she has since passed away. I liked the location, and it's a good fit for me. It's a very nice facility. I just happen to like this one because of the location and the fact that they have transportation. The staff is wonderful. Everyone has been great. They're very helpful for an elderly person like me, and for a person that doesn't have transportation. They're very caring. They watch out for you. That's what I'm getting so far. It's very, very clean. I hadn't lived there yet, but from what I know of it and what I've seen, it's a wonderful facility. I think it's a good fit for a lot of people. It's gonna be a better fit for me than some of the others because of location. This is a good location for me. The menu looks great. I've heard from other people that they have good food there. They have a variety. They have a dining room, and they also have a bistro. It's a nice variety if you want something different. From what I've seen and heard, they also have activities. They have entertainment at times. They have areas for you to do puzzles, and they have areas on each floor to do cards if you want to play cards. It's like a community. All the drivers that I've met were very nice.

I went to One Lincoln Park. The staff was professional and courteous. It's clean and well-appointed. It's a good-looking facility. I saw where they have the library and where they have meetings or their multipurpose room. They had a nice front room area where the family can gather.

One Lincoln Park was a beautiful place. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The guy who gave us the tour was incredibly nice and answered all our questions. We kind of realized right away that it was going to be way too expensive for my sister and that they didn't take Medicaid, so there was no way she could have stayed there through the long term. But the staff was willing to give us a tour anyway. He was very gracious. Everything was in really good shape. The dining area and the type of food they served were nice.

I liked One Lincoln Park because it's close to where I live so I'm already familiar with the area. It's an independent living and there wasn't anything I didn't like about it. I liked the location and the manager who gave me the tour did a very good job of explaining the amenities there and everything they have to offer. She took me out for a tour of the grounds too. I like the facility and the feel of it. They're also pet-friendly. They have a courtyard and during my visit, there were a lot of people outside walking or sitting on benches. They had a barbershop and a salon.

We're going to move into One Lincoln Park. It's a beautiful community with very nice, friendly staff. It's in excellent shape, everything felt very comfortable. They have a beauty shop, barbershop, there's a workout area there and a nice library with computer access. They have pretty much everything that we would want. We love the room, it has a lot of windows. They're replacing all the carpeting, fixing and repainting all the walls. It should look great in a couple of weeks.

My mother lived at One Lincoln Park three years ago. She was there for one year. It was a nice place, they had good services, and they had free transportation. It's independent living though it's not assisted living. So for independent living, it was good, but my parents needed more care. They had good programing, good services, good staff, and good food. We liked it. It was very good. They had different exercise classes, and they had an exercise room. They had a lot of activities. They are a very good organization, and they have good activities. It was clean, and it was well staffed. It was very good.

We toured One Lincoln Park. It was clean and quiet, but it was monstrous. The room that we saw first was a single bedroom, and it was kind of small. The other one we saw was a two-bedroom, and it was bigger. They did say that everything was included, but you had to pay for phones, TV, and probably the Internet. They were all very friendly. They spoke and smiled. For us, it was too big. It had a library and a coffee place that had more than just coffee available. It also had a pathway to a big park where they put on live music.

Of all the places that I visited, One Lincoln Park was #1 for sure in my mind. The staff was great. The interviewer was great. Their follow-up was really good. Their brochures were great. I got to speak with a lot of the different staff while I was there. If they would have offered the Medicare paydown thing, I would have put my brother there for sure. As far as I'm concerned, they're 5-stars all the way across. They did an excellent job. The facilities were great, and the people were great. I don't know what they would improve on. I visited several of the people there. They just seemed to have more of a sense of community there. It seemed like everybody was more in tune with what was going on, both the residents and staff. I did not try the food, but it all looked appetizing. I was there during a meal, and it certainly looked good. I don't know if it was good though. The rooms were really, really good. I like their facilities really well. It's well kept and spacious and the thing I thought that was really cool was the size of the bathroom. The bathrooms were huge. When someone has got different kinds of disabilities, I thought that was a really good idea. The bathrooms were really big and laid out well; they provided plenty of room for everything you might need to do. I really like that part. They have a barbershop and an in-house healthcare located within their building, which was really helpful. They did all kinds of stuff outside, and it is adjacent to Lincoln Park which is a really nice outdoor park; it's huge. There's a park there with a lake. If they're able to, they can certainly go there and do whatever they want.

One Lincoln Park was very nice and quite impressive. I think it would rate a little bit better than the other place. For example, the carpet seemed to be a little better quality than the other place. It was beautifully appointed. They had a bar where they would have happy hour. They had similar amenities, and the staff was just exceptional. They had a studio and two-bedroom apartments. Surprisingly, I could probably even afford to live there at least at the current prices, and that was kind of a relief to me.

One Lincoln Park was a very nice place. The surroundings were very nice and the rooms were very nice, too. We did have lunch there, which was very good. We had a favorable impression of the place. The main person that escorted us was very nice and very knowledgeable. I couldn't say anything bad about him. It's a high-rise place and we visited a couple of rooms there.

One Lincoln Park was very nice, and their food was better than the others. It's clean, and they had lots of activities and unlimited transportation within a specific mile radius. The staff was very good. The rooms were very nice and adequate size. They had a lot to offer there.

I love this facility. Staff is excellent. Apartments are great in every way. Food is excellent. Transportation is available to appointments, shopping, and church services. For me, there is only one drawback--price. For a one bedroom apartment, I would only have about $300 per month for personal needs such as prescriptions, clothing, and necessary family/friends/charitable giving.

My brother and I visited One Lincoln Park (and other places) when searching for a comfortable and safe independent living community. We found OLP to be a very clean, bright, and friendly place. The residents, that we came across during our tour were very cheerful, and each one recommended OLP to us. OLP has a variety of room layouts, with several different pricing options. The dining room and bistro provide an assortment of different foods daily. Residents can participate in a considerable number of activity opportunities. OLP is also located very close to the Fraze Pavillion and Kettering Civic Commons, for easy walks, and where an assortment of spring and summer events can be heard or attended. Our mother has now been at OLP for about 5 months, and she seems very pleased. She has made several new friends, has stated that the staff is very responsive, efficient, and courteous. We all feel that it has been a very good choice!

I visited this community several times and called Jack about as many times with questions. The result was that I was so impressed with the staff, reasonable rates (no large endowment fee), appearance, amenities and services included in the rent, that I put a deposit fee and signed to be on the wait-list for a studio apartment. I especially liked the fact that chauffering is included and that once on the wait-list I am already a part of the community and can participate in all the activities as a resident. Good job

I like a lot of things about One Lincoln Park. They have studio apartments that I might be able to afford, and they also have a step-down place if I get infirm or start to fall apart. I like the fact that they provided supper and I can also get my own lunch and breakfast. They also have a valet service. It was a pretty nice community. In the evenings they have activities, and they also have trips for the residents. The staff member who gave me the tour was very nice, she showed me two studios -- each a different size -- and a 1-bedroom apartment. They were nice.

My parents journey, searching for a new home, began in early 2017. Mom was somewhat familiar with OLP from having friends that are current residents and had had the pleasure of visiting. We then decided to o call OLP and make an appointment to visit. I called and spoke with the Kim, the retirement counselor. She was very understanding in the nature of my families situation, a couple of sixty years and fifty year residents in their home. Kim went out of her way to arrange a visit that was accommodating to our busy schedule. She guided us through the facility, showed us multiple apartment options, introduced us to Mike, the dining room manager and Zeva the moving coordinator. All whom play an important roll in OLP and making residents feel comfortable in their home. After multiple visits, thorough explanations of the facilities offerings, introductions to satisfied neighbors, nice complimentary meals my parents decided to make OLP their home. With the support and professionalism of the OLP staff they made a difficult move a comforting experience. My folks are now satisfied residents. Thank you

One Lincoln Park was very nice. They had a lot of activities and rooms where you can do different things. They had a nice dining room and transportation for people. It was nicely set up, we liked everything about it. The only problem is we can't afford it. I was invited for lunch and it was very good, including the service. You can get a 2-bedroom or 1-bedroom apartment, but they're pretty small, and you have to bring your own furniture.

One Lincoln Park is a nice place. They just stick to the rules too much. The people who worked there have become almost like family because in 2004 when my brother-in-law moved in 13 years ago it was -- and still is -- a pretty little residence. They'll take the people in cars to their doctors, but they are not checking up on what is going on behind those doors.

We went to One Lincoln Park, which is a 5-star place. Everything is just fine. It’s a very nice place and very close to my son’s house. They’re all very nice here. They’re completely re-doing the place with all new paint, counters, linoleum, and rugs. The place will be very, very nice. It’s 844 square feet and very pleasant. Everything is very much to my liking there. The apartment that I have is within a few feet from the door that leads straight to the parking lot where my car is. They have a valet service for parking and chauffeuring to the grocery store all included in the price. It’s all very nice.

One Lincoln Park Retirement Community was very expensive. There were a lot of programs, speakers and entertainment in the facility. There were also games like bingo, and one-man bands. They always sent me invitations because it was near my house.
