My mother moved to The Inn at Winchester Trail. It's a very large building and it's very clean. All the employees are nice and helpful. The dining area has a room full of tables and they come to ask what you want and bring it to you. It's almost like a restaurant. They have activities. They've all done exactly what they're supposed to and courteously. Their prices are right along with every other facility. So, the value is good and that's what I needed, and the cost was not a big factor. They are the only ones who accepted my mother and it's close enough to me.

The Inn at Winchester Trail is beautiful. It looked like an old inn somewhere. I have no complaints about the appearance at all. It is kind of rustic looking, which I have no problem with. I think it's beautiful. I loved the person I met there. She was very thorough. The experience was great. The rooms were very, very nice. It more reminds me of a hotel. They have everything. The dining room was gorgeous. The outside looked very clean and fresh. They have a swimming pool. They have a bunch of things. It was homey.

My dad is in the memory care section of The Inn at Winchester Trail, and we love the place. It has sensors so they know when people are moving around, because my dad doesn't remember that he should use a walker, so he gets up and he'll fall. This place they return calls and they're very caring. It's just a great place. We can't get in, but he seems to be happy, so that's good. Due to the virus we can't be in there, but he's eating all the time and he's gaining weight, which he needed to do.

My mother has lived in Memory Care and Special Care at The Inn at Winchester Trails for well over a year. I live 5 miles away and visit her often. Yes it is beautiful, but, in my opinion the staff and the care she receives is by far the best we have ever encountered. (She has lived in 2 other communities previously) the Entire staff loves her and she loves them. Smiles, Encouragement, Hugs and Kisses are a norm. Her care has always been EXCELLENT. Anytime there is a change or problem, I am called 24hrs. A day. I am there often, I have NEVER seen anything but loving care of ALL THE RESIDENTS. Everyone is clean, well cared for and treated with love and respect. If a resident has a need it is addressed immediately no matter what is going on. There are nurses on duty 24/7. They are always happy to answer any questions you may have and happily do any special request you may have for your loved ones. There are many activities daily, field trips weekly. Performing Artist weekly, church services, and one on one time. Different ones gauged to different abilities of residents. I suspect that the lower grade reviews were from several years ago when Winchester first opened, it is now April 2019 and I have explored a vast number of communities and NONE can come close to the quality care The Inn at Winchester Trails provides.

I will forever regret my decision to move my mother to Winchester Trail. While Winchester Trail makes a lovely appearance, the community lacks leadership and the staff lacks guidance and training. The care provided is well below average compared to other communities in the area of similar cost. In my opinion, the facility is under-staffed with constant turnover. Staff morale is low. Leadership is a defensive, condescending, chaotic mess. In April, 2018 my mother moved to another community in the area - the difference is night and day, the care provided to her now is simply amazing. I encourage you to carefully research other communities before making a decision for your loved one. In my opinion, your loved one deserves much better than anything offered at The Inn at Winchester Trail.

The inn at Winchester trail is a beautiful facility but the staff is very unorganized and there always seem to be complete chaos and disarray in the building a lot of the times the staff doesn't know the answers to things as well as the higher up. Looks nice on the outside , but on the inside a complete total mess! I wouldn't not recommend sending your loved ones here.

My parent has been a resident here for over 6 months and resides in assisted living, and out of the blue I was informed they would be transferring them to their memory care unit with NO communication about any prior issues from the director of nursing or any other members of the management. I was pleased at first when I moved my parent in months ago, I was promised that my parent would have a premiere assisted living experience, but in recent it has become less than a mediocre and that is putting it nicely. I have noticed along with other family members that the facility seems in disarray, no one seems to know what is going on from one day to the next, they are understaffed which leads to lack of attention and care that we were promised. This facility is a disappointment to say the least.

The Inn at Winchester Trail is a beautiful facility that opened last summer. I know several people there who say that it’s wonderful and that they’re very caring. They love being there, so that’s where we wanted my in-laws to go. The staff was outgoing, very caring, and very knowledgeable. Everybody we talked to really knew everyhting about the place. The rooms were very nice and brand new; they only had three residents that had moved in prior to their grand opening. They opened their doors and let us come in and looked at those rooms, too. They had their own little bar, a movie room, and lots of areas where you could sit and talk. Outside were little streams and rocking chairs. They have one option that is a step-up if you need full-time care including sewing needs, folding laundry, and other things that they could do. Anything you can imagine, it seemed like they have that. I was terribly impressed.

I did not like The Inn at Winchester Trail because it was too expensive. The bedrooms were OK. The entrance was beautiful, and the lobby was gorgeous. Beyond that, I did not care at all.
