I went to look at Wexner Heritage Village - Creekside at The Village. The place was very clean. The staff was wonderful. The lady who greeted us was kind of not wonderful. But the lady who runs it was very informative, great to talk to, and answered a lot of questions. It was a very nice place. I saw the menu, but I did not try anything on it. They took us around and showed us the apartments, which were very nice. They were having a little concert downstairs, which was nice to see as well. It was almost like a hotel.

I went to Wexner Heritage Village - Creekside at the Village. It was a very nice visit, and the lady that showed us around was very courteous, friendly, and very professional. She gave us all the details and all the information. She didn't leave anything out of the questions that we would ask. She answered pretty much all our questions before we needed to ask any, and we walked away with everything we needed to go on as far as making a decision and moving forward if that would have been our location. They showed us a couple of different rooms, like a studio room versus a two-bedroom room. And they had quite a few stories, I think it's three or four stories high. It was an older facility, but it was well-kept and well-maintained. It had a lot of positive amenities as well.

I chose Wexner Heritage Village - Creekside at The Village for myself. Everything was most welcoming. I got to sit down with one of their representatives. They've got a little cafe-type place that is open for coffee and stuff all the time, so we sat down in there and we chatted and then we went to a couple of different departments, discussed things like diet, which was one of the major decisions because I'm Jewish. They have primarily kosher-type meals. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and was very friendly. I didn't eat anything, but the dining area was nice. One of the things that I liked about that place was they've got continuum care. If you need further or more care, they can take care of that right in that location as opposed to having to move someplace else. They've got different buildings, but they go all the way up to hospice. It was pretty quiet, but then I was in the middle of the morning. They fit into my lifestyle. They have Jewish events as opposed to the typical Sunday service, etc. The staff has been very helpful and they've called back to check up on me several times. They've got nice apartments. The one I looked at wasn't one of their super-duper fancy ones. They got everything from basic one-bedrooms to two-bedrooms with balconies and all sorts of stuff. It was a nice, well-organized place with adequate customer care. They have a check-in in the morning. They have little buttons that you can just push to tell them everything's OK and if you don't push that button by 10:00 in the morning, they'll send somebody around to check up on you.

Creekside at the Village appeared to be comfortable and nice, and it's very appropriate for seniors. They had spacious one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units, and some come with a fireplace. It was a very nice community. They have activities like playing cards, bingo, and they have outings outside the community. The staff there was very helpful and very personable. Their dining area looked really clean and appropriate. Overall, it's a very clean and well-operated community. We were there to look at their assisted living level.

Creekside at the Village is quite luxurious, comfortable, and "home like". But, what is special and not easy to come by is the quality of the staff - their kindness and professionalism. It is very convenient that Creekside at the Village is located next door to the Jewish Community Center, which offers endless activities. I am very much at home living here and proud that our community has such a residence.

Creekside seemed older, it was well-established, and it was very nice. It seemed to be very homey. They offer the same activities, usually Bingo and cards. It was very friendly, and I saw the staff helping some of the people there. They had an open area and a very nice garden.

Creekside at the Village was very high end -- very nice apartments with nice balconies. The facility seemed very nice. The long term care or the rehab center is not connected, but is within the same complex.

My mom is in assisted living at Creekside at the Village. As far as the staff goes, they seem to be nice and very caring people. My mother is definitely independent, but occasionally needs help and when she pushes her button they are there to help her. They do maintain the building and the inside and they keep it very clean. Swimming is available and they have a workout room as far as that kind of stuff goes. They have a weekly movie, Bingo, mahjong, memory classes where they go in and talk about things the people remember, and they go out on field trips quite frequently. They also have buses to take them to the grocery store or to the drugstores, and if they need someone to take them to a doctor's appointment, they have that available. I am very pleased with the way they take care of things there. My mother has been at the Creekside at the Village for 71/2 years and I have nothing but praise for the people who take care of her. We have had excellent care. The food sometimes is a little greasy, but they are getting better. She loves being there. It is a great place for people to look into.
