My mother is in St. Mary of the Woods. Their services are excellent. We haven't been allowed into the building at all, so we really don't know a whole lot about it. We've only been to the outside. Their activities are cut back, but other than that, I really can't tell much about it. They're doing a fantastic job. The outside is well kept, has a manicured lawn, and is kept clean. She is doing OK.

St Mary of the Woods was very nice. It was very clean. We like it. But we liked the other place better because it had balconies and patios, and St. Mary's did not have any outdoor spaces. The staff who assisted me was very helpful. The rooms were very nice. They're probably actually a little larger than the other ones, and that was nice. My mother was a little uncomfortable with the Catholic influence because she's a Protestant. It was not heavily geared towards Catholics, but there was a Catholic influence there. The staff was very knowledgeable though.

While my father got very good care in St. Mary’s rehab unit, this level of care was not maintained when he transitioned to Assisted Living Respite Care. When his condition started to deteriorate after a couple days in Assisted Living my family was told repeatedly that the doctor was being contacted and lab tests were being run. Yet no doctor came to see my father and his condition continued to deteriorate. After a couple more days my family called an ambulance to take my father to the hospital as he wasn’t getting the care he needed at St. Mary’s. My father did not return to St. Mary’s.

St Mary of the Woods is a nice place. It had nice staff and nice amenities. They had a pool table in the assisted living, they had a little bird sanctuary where you can view birds, they had a cafeteria with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have activities going on every day, they gave me a packet of that.

St Mary of the Woods was very, very nice and new, but I didn't see a single resident. I walked through the place, but it was simply uneventful, and I didn't see anybody having any fun. I know they have a chapel because I parked outside of it for a few minutes and certainly they have dining rooms. It's a beautiful facility. It appears to be brand new. I only met with one person, that was the lady that took us around. She was very nice, but naturally, her job is to be very nice.

St Mary of the Woods is an amazing place. We really liked that one, especially the room that had a little bird aviary in it. The facility was really nice. The girl that took us around was very nice. It was in very good condition, but we didn't see much because of the restrictions.

My mother moved into St. Mary's of the Woods. It's relatively new, the facilities are clean, they have a nice cafeteria, and the room is spacious and updated with new appliances and countertops. The staff there is very friendly. I had dinner with my mom. I've eaten there a couple of times, and it's been good.

I really liked St. Mary of the Woods. It was very friendly, clean, and very well maintained. The staff was very accommodating to my mother's needs. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The location was easily accessible from the highway and many restaurants and stores surrounded it.

Laura is at St. Mary of the Woods, and I am very disappointed in their care. They are short-staffed. Different shifts have different aides; some aides are very helpful, and other ones aren't -- she was bedridden, and they kept leaving her towels and wash rags. I asked for another pack of those wipes that you bathe with, and they said that she has a supply of towels and wash rags and I said she doesn’t have any in her room, you hadn’t given her in 2 weeks. Then they started taking her wipes away so we had no way to clean her, so we had to bring towels, wash rags, and wipes from home. And then hospice provided wipes, and the nursing home took those also. Their care is 5 out of 10. The upper people are friendly, and some of the aides are friendly; it is 50-50. It was accessible for their family, and that was a perfect location. They do have some very good workers.

St. Mary of the Woods was 5-star gorgeous. They have their own chef. The staff was great. The only problem with this facility was that, while you get what you pay for, it was very expensive.

I was unsolicited, so when I walked in at St. Mary of the Woods I just looked around and just asked a couple of questions to the gal at the desk; and she was very helpful. I just wanted to peek into one of the living areas, and she was not the sales person. It was on a weekend and that individual (sales person) wasn’t there and she wanted to make sure that I at least could be able to see one of the apartments. So she was good enough to share that with me, and she was going to follow up with the sales manager who's going to call me. I was treated very well. It was a great experience. The place was very clean and very well kept. The residents seem very happy and they were on their way to chapel. They have an activity area, and they have a couple of dining rooms. It’s a beautiful facility, and it’s newer. A lot of the amenities are updated, and everything was new including the outside of the building. It’s like a step community so there’s independent living, there’s assisted living, and then there’s a nursing home facility all within the same area. It had a nice and caring atmosphere.

We chose St. Mary of the Woods because it was near our house, it was a top notch facility and there was mass everyday. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms were nicely furnished and carpeted. Even if the residents shared a room, there was a curtain which provided privacy. The atmosphere was closer to a real home than a facility. There were different activities for the residents like crafts, occupational therapy, monthly birthday parties and other social interactions.
