Pine Valley Center for Rehab and Nursing was very clean. They took me through all the floors. They have elevators. It has a nice setup for the residents. The residents were active. The nurses were doing their jobs. The facility smells good. It seemed lively and nice. The staff members were nice, very friendly, helpful, and informative. The rooms were good, and they had semi-private rooms. They had arts and crafts. They had a lanai and a patio area where they could go out to. They had exercise classes.

Pine Valley Center for Rehab and Nursing is a nice and clean place. They're short staffed, but they're good people. My mom's room is not that big. She has her bed and a chair in there and she shares a bathroom with someone else. They have a little recreation center, arts and crafts, and bingo games. They also have someone who will provide beauty and care services every two weeks.

I would never send anyone here! Witnessed aids ignoring patients, staff levels seemed low. Covid outbreak. No one asked for proof of a negative Covid test, expect a check in machine question. Empty hand sanitizer. No sanitizer near high touch areas. Good luck trying to get some one on phone. Saw 0 activities for patients.

It is SUMMER and the outside temperature at 90+. The A/C is not on at this facility upon visiting. The patient rooms are HOT BOXES and the little room across from the nurses station has windows open instead of the A/C unit being on. Patients in there eating in an uncomfortable and dangerous health environment. WHY ISN'T THE A/C SET TO A COMFORTABLE TEMPERATURE??? Energy is expensive however keeping these elderly patients with respiratory issues in a comfortable environment is important. They are receiving the top $$ yet your family member is being kept in a hot box . The hallways alone are hot and muggy but entering the patient rooms is unbearable.

Our 93 year old mom has been at Pine Valley for several months now. The facility is exceptionally clean, the staff is very attentive, the food is delicious, and the physical and occupational therapists are wonderful. Stephanie from admissions and Allyson the dietitian are awesome. The staff from the front desk as well as the 2nd floor west nurses and aids are all amazing! We are totally happy with the entire experience!

Pine Valley Center-Rehabilitation & Nursing is very clean and it's new. The meals are in kind of a homey room, it's not institutional, so that's nice. My mother had a roommate who was very difficult so she's been in a number of different rooms there. The staff seems good and the food is fine. There's an activity director, but otherwise there aren't many activities. My mother is there on Medicaid so it's a very good value.

My father went into this facility at 92 because he couldn’t go home because his caregiver (wife) was sick. Within 18 days of no outside contact he caught covid 19. Transferred to a hospital who transferred him to hospice. They don’t answer phone and it’s impossible to get any idea what is going on in there. Totally shut out from the rest of the world. I was under the impression when we admitted him that after two weeks of self quarantine inside the facility he would be able to have visitors. Wrong no visitors ever and covid is running ramped. He passed away on Dec 29th. Do not put a loved one here.

Beautiful facility with an even better team caring for the residents they serve! The administrator is extremely attentive and addresses concerns in real time. I would highly suggest this facility for your loved ones who need either long term placement or short term rehab.

I am a care giver to patient at the facilty they are suppose to have me on a list to talk to it has been this way since she was in good sam.. they treat the residents like second had citizens she fell on Monday I was not called her second cousin and his wife who have nothing to do with her care are listed . She was told she could go to smoke 3 times a day now it is a non-smoking . She also signed a contract so she could smoke. The food is from hunger . I have ask to have the dietician sent to her no one has showed up yet . I have seen more religious just like freidwald . The food stinks the care of the patient stink the aides set around speaking a langue that most of the patients do not understand . And when I go to get Ice for my aunt there is none on the floor and is told by the aides that I can not go get anything without asking ,they don't do it . I was in this place for 5 days last may and it was better now on the medical side it sucks big time . I would not recommend this place to anyone the faciutlies in this county are over run by the religious and the big man lets it happen. And forget everyone else. I am really disappointed in the care given in this place

Pine Valley Center is so far very good and we have no issues. We chose them for my dad because they accepted Medicaid and they are a new place. They help him with bathing, make sure he takes his medication, and a nurse comes in every day to check up on him and make sure everything is good.

I'm a friend of a person who had rehab at this facility. When his wife arrived he was told to go to the kitchen to eat dinner, they waited till 6:30 and no food arrived, when the wife asked the staff where his dinner was she was told they ran out of dinners, she asked the staff what was he suppose to eat and they said let me check the refrigerator, they found a cheese sandwich with 1 slice of cheese between 2 slices of bread, he ate the cheese and the man next to him asked for the bread, they had nothing else to offer him, how sad is that, this place should be closed down, prisoners are treated better. The wife had him transferred to another facility

I am angry and disappointed with the care given to my mother and other residents. This wasn't always the case. My mother was a resident last year. The nurses and aides were attentive and caring with the exception of a few. The physical therapy was top notch. The attention given by the social director was This is not the case right now. The majority of the nurses are nasty and miserable. They ignore the residents. They are cobative and belligerent. They get annoyed if you ask them for something minor or remind them that your meds were due an hour ago. The aides are afraid of the majority of the nurses and aren't caring. When my mom asks for a shower the aide always informs her that she has other residents to attend. My mother is a fall risk. Zero attention from the majority of the staff. They yell and are nasty to each other and to the residents. Very disappointed and annoyed. I can't watch for my mom to be discharged. A below par rehab center. Did I mention the food. Sub par.

I would like to submit an honest review of the Pine Valley Nursing Home Facility in Spring Valley. Having a relative there for almost 2 months I have been there at least 3 times a week to assess all measures of care and have found it to be very different than the artist rendering of the virtual tour given from the website. At the present time the rooms are dingy and nothing to look forward to.The care other than the nurses are sub-standard. Aids will try to send there days without devoting their time to help the patients. Call bells go UN-answered. Food given to patients are the most inexpensive canned or prepared foods. Hardly any meat on the menu other than frankfurters or hamburgers. Eggs or grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner? Macaroni products 3 times a week. Patients who wear diapers get changed 2 X a day. Laundry goes missing and is given to different patients, even with name tags. Clothes come back stained from laundry. If patient is bed ridden, clothes stay in plastic bags and are not put away. Please go to the facility before sending your love one there and see the surroundings and look at the personal care given. Don't look at the pictures and make a decision.
