From the moment I arrived, I was treated very well. This place was recommended by a close friend of my wife. Through my health insurance I had a choice of 18 different rehab facilities and you guys rose to the top of my selection. The staff here is very attentive, caring , and very thoughtful about their patients. I never had a request looked on as something they didn’t want to do. The PT staff were good at working on my knee, I had a total knee replacement. I’ve been here a week and hopefully plan on going home next week sometime. Overall, I think I made a good decision to come to Care One in New Milford .

I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. I seriously don't understand how this place remains open. Both the Administrator and Social Worker are completely incompetent. My mother has dementia and was dumped in a room, that NO ONE should be put in, just because she had tested positive for Covid at the hospital. By the fifth day there I had seen enough! There was no way I would ever allow my mom to live there!! She became that forgotten soul. Covid or no Covid EVERYONE deserves to be treated with dignity. That is OBVIOUSLY something that, unfortunately, is overlooked by the majority of the staff. They are more like robots doing their jobs instead of human beings showing a bit of compassion for each individual patient.

I wouldn't send my worse enemy to this place. No one answers the phone. When they do, and if no one answers they just keep passing you through to that number 5 or 6 times without saying anything to you. No one ever answers the phone at the nurses station or any of the Supervisor's phones. Even the Administrator doesn't answer his phone and when you leave a message takes multiple hours to call you back. This location is a horrible place to deal with. No one cares there. Even when I'm there, I can't get answers for my questions. So, so frustrating and no one to go to, to rectify the situation. You feel stuck with no where to go. This place needs a serious overhaul of employees from the top all the way down to the Receptionist! I've never had to deal with an organization like this that just doesn't care about their patients and family. Yesterday I had the head nurse turn around and walk away from me as I was asking her a question like I didn't even exist. Horrible, horrible, horrible! I can go on and on and on about what is wrong with this place. I've kept notes and timing on what I've gone through. Now to find someone that will actually listen to me!

Terrible for staff. terrible for patients. Website is way nicer than the facility itself. Experience, food, staff, care, rooms were bad within the first hour there. Therapy was probably the best department. I am not even a staff member and I can tell you--- if u take care of ur staff your patients will be better. If I could give no stars I would. Evening aid as disgustingly rude in front of family and patient. Basically forced back to bed. Understaffing does NOT mean BAD SERVICE

My father in law was in Care One New Milford back in July of 2020. I wasn't sure what to expect with COVID, but was impressed with the staff and his care. He had an infection and needed antibiotics along with physical therapy to get him stronger. The staff was wonderful and very attentive to his needs. I was overall impressed with how well he did and how much stronger he was when he came home. Thank you for taking such good care of him!

My mom was in CareOne at New Milford. She was there because she needed rehab, but she actually got worse and had to go back to the hospital. They had nurses and aides. It was poor. My mom didn't really receive physical therapy as much as she was supposed to. We were in contact with her while she was there, but she was not getting physical therapy every day. I got the impression that she wasn't getting that individual care that she needed. I feel like they were overwhelmed and they couldn't give the care to each patient, which is bad because they had patients that were really delicate or had injuries. They needed extra care and I didn't think the nurses were able to provide that. My mom had to have physical therapy but it was non-existent. The whole time she was there we were never contacted by the doctor, even just to tell us what the plan was or what the plan for her care was. We told them we hadn't talked to a doctor and we had concerns about our mother's care, and that's when the nursing manager contacted us and then the doctor. However, by that time, my mom had complications and had to go back to the hospital.

My father spent several months in Woodcrest in 2017 and early 2018. The staff (aides, nurses, social workers and administrators) were all top notch. My father, who was 99 years old, was rehabilitating at the facility after suffering two broken hips and a case of pneumonia. The rehabilitation staff also did an exceptional job getting my father back on his feet. I knew my father was in good hands at Woodcrest. The staff really took care of him and I am forever grateful. I wouldn't even think of using another facility for rehabilitation.

My husband has been a long time resident. He has ALS and needs much care. He is a very positive happy person, much of which is because of the care he gets at the home. Everyone treats him with such good care and respect. The nurses and cna’s give him very good care. He loves his room and is so happy when everyone says Hi. He smiles at them and gives a thumbs up. I visit very frequently and always find the surroundings in good shape. I appreciate all the hard work the staff does. They are truly angels and are giving him a good quality of life and me peace of mind. Thank you also to the activity staff. They do a great job, especially the new director, he is so enthusiastic!!!

My mom was in CareOne at New Milford. The facility appeared nicer before you got up to the rooms. The doorknobs on the closets were broken, the toilet was clogged up, and it took hours for them to come in and unclog it. My mother was soiled every time I got there. I think they're short-handed for the number of patients they have. As soon as the elevator door opened you would smell feces and urine.

Care One At Woodcrest is good. It's got plenty of parking. The place is kept clean, and the people are very attentive, and nice. They do all different types of activities like music, aerobics, and physical therapy. The food is OK, but I do not know how good it's going to be eventually.

My friend was at Woodcrest, I was so impressed with the wonderful care she received. Everybody did their very best to help !! She was able to return to her normal life because of the wonderful medical care and physical therapy . If YOU or a love one need to get better , I highly recommend Woodcrest Sub acute Rehab, if you want to get a beautiful building only... Go to another place.

Dad has been at Woodcrest Health Care for about two weeks, and so far so good. The staff is fine and friendly, and they do call me when they are giving him a test or if there is a problem. He just doesn’t want to eat, and this has been going on for three months. He is always clean, and that’s the first thing I check when I visit a nursing home to make sure the place smelled OK. So far, I haven’t had an issue. The location is fine. My dad really can’t stand up, but they have like a special thing on where if he moves too much out of the chair, the alarm would go off.

Mother-in-law was a patient after being in the hospital. They followed doctor's orders, had her walking around and socializing with other patients, something she had not been willing to do for others.
