This home is not at all like an institution. The staff are warm, caring, and consistent. The communication is excellent between staff and families. The home is always spotless. I never worried that my mom was being ignored or not treated well. If there ever was an issue, it was handled immediately. Also, the good was excellent and they always tried to please my mom

My Mother was one of the first residents of Grace House. She lived there for over 7 years. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff and it's owners, Sue and Neil. My Mother was extremely well taken care of and loved by everyone. She had extensive needs and the care she received was consistently excellent. She was reluctant to leave her home at first, but grew to love her life and the many relationships she had at Grace House. I firmly believe that she had years added to her life because of the care she experienced. Sue and Neil P. treated my Mother like she was a part of their own family. I highly recommend Grace House.

My husband is at Grace House of Windham. It's a small place with 17 residents. It's not just dementia, but it includes people with physical disabilities as well, as it goes through the end of life care. It's a brand new facility which is just five years old. The staff are very knowledgeable.

This assisted living facility is located on acerage in picturesque Windham, NH. It has a beautiful front porch and looks like a very large, modern farm house of sorts. Inside is just as stunning--beautiful, homey decor--the sunny yellow stands out in my memory. Upon entering, there is an absolute gorgeous sitting area. The back has a pretty patio and the facility smelled and looked wonderful. It in no way, even when peering into private rooms, looks like a facility. Various residents were sitting in the pleasant common room and looked engaged by staff and happy.

My mom with Alzheimer's has been in this facility for 2 years. The director is readily available and extremely compasionate. The staff is excellent at handling my mom's various needs- they are creative at being able to redirect her and are very caring. Every time I visit, my mom is dressed and clean. They can always update me on her day. Although she can't communicate any more, my mom obviously loves the staff- they treat her like their own mom, hugging her and making her feel loved and secure. Grace House is more like a family home environment, beautifully decorated with comfy furniture. Many of the staff have been there since my mom arrived, which is great because they understand her and anticipate her needs. The food is very good and nicely presented. I have been so pleased with the love and care she has been receiving. I HIGHLY recommend this facility.
