My mother has been a resident at Pine Hill for a year. During that time, I have experienced the staff as caring, involved, and sensitive to her needs. Mom's room is spacious and has a nice view. She enjoys playing games and the visits from entertainers and regular exercise. The atmosphere is cozy and down to earth. Because it is a small community, the staff and residents create meaningful relationships. Your loved ones do not fall through the cracks here, the way they might in a large, less personal community.

I toured Assisted Living at Pine Hill. They seem to be happy. The staff were fine. They were great. The rooms look fine, but the big thing is it's not air-conditioned. The facility was recently refurbished or redone. It's not modern at all. It's an older place, but it was clean. They have a kitchen with several tables set up. They have a place where 3 or 4 people can sit at the table.

Assisted Living at Pine Hill is a nice place. I didn't realize it's assisted living. The people were nice. It's an all-female facility, and there are no men in there, but that's fine. It's just that there were stairs, but they did have a riding chair that goes up and down the stairs. But it was nice and clean. The people were nice, but it was just the wrong facility for us. I met the head person, and she was very, very helpful. I didn't taste their food, but I did the tour. She knew that I wasn't interested in that place, but she gave me the tour anyway, and it was a nice place. The staff was very good and very helpful. It's secluded, and it is in a very nice area. They have nice outside facilities to go and sit. The facilities are good.

We had to move my mother up to NH from NJ during the Coronavirus pandemic. This facility is perfect for her. The staff is very caring, attentive, and welcoming. Mom loves the food and the homey atmosphere. She likes that it is small and all women.

My mom lives here and she is very well cared for. Everything is so beautiful and recently renovated. The owners go the extra mile and give care above all expectations. They also own Beaver Lake Lodge Assisted Living in Derry NH and share activities between the two facilities.

Mom is at Pine Hill Retirement. I’m impressed because it’s a small community. Right now, there are only 16 people there, but they are growing and building a second facility. It’s homey without a lot of people, and they do a lot of different activities. It was independent enough. It’s set back in the woods on a dead-end street, so the residents could walk to the end of the street and back for a small trip, which is nice because they have somewhere to go. The food was good, and the price was really good too. My mom is able to afford this place with her savings, so she can stay there quite awhile without Medicare or Medicaid. It’s a nice place; I can go visit her any time. She has a nice-sized room with which she is really happy. They’ve been really good with the family.

My sister needed to start living on her own after her terrible automobile accident but she need some assistance. She moved to this location where she got the assistance she needed and because it has around 17 residents it is like a family atmosphere she was comfortable. They also serve home prepared foods and cook it right there in the kitchen. The cost is very reasonable. And activities are given everyday. The draw back is that they have stairs that people have to go up and down so they can only take residence that are mobal and can go up and down stairs.

We chose this facility because it is close to where I live. This facility sits in the woods; the location is very beautiful and picturesque. This is not a very large facility thus giving it a homey environment. My sister's room is very large, it has a double closet and she shares a bathroom with just one resident. My sister likes the food here, she says its excellent. The staffs are just wonderful. She helps her with medication, they take her to outings, bring her to the library because she doesn't drive and provide her with any other things she needs. Some recreational activities available in this facility include bingo games, watching TV together, taking residents to stores, inviting a podiatrist once a month and facilitating celebrations. This facility is doing everything I expect for my sister. She's younger than the other residents so she bonds more with the workers. This has been a very positive experience for her.
