We are thinking of choosing Windham Terrace for my aunt, it's an excellent facility. The staff has been very helpful and was a pleasure to deal with. The facility is clean, they've got activities, they've got hairdressing, and dining facilities and the place was very nicely laid out. They also have a gym, and salon, the place was immaculate and the hallways were very nice.

Windham Terrace was very clean and it had a homey feel. They had both assisted living and memory care. They had a nice big cooking room where they could go and cook their own meals or the family could cook along with them. I only saw a small activity room and a library. They have a terrace, but I didn't go outside. The room was very nice and spacious. They have a kitchenette and everything is included. You don't have to pay a telephone bill, the internet, or cable TV, so that was a nice feature. The facility looked very nice and I liked that it's small. The person that runs it has been there for over 20 years, so that was good to know.

When I walked into Windham Terrace, it had like an old-fashioned feel to me. It wasn't modern looking. It was an older place that they renovated, I guess. But it was nice, and the staff was nice. But some of the people we talked to sounded like they were a little snobby, and I didn't like that. The bathroom was smaller, and the kitchenette facilities that they had were a lot smaller. For example, it was a small refrigerator instead of a full-sized one, there was no cook top if you wanted to have it, and the microwave was smaller. It was almost like a dorm room size. Walking down the halls, it was a little dark, and I didn't find it to be as comfortable in there. I didn't think it was cheery; it was more old-fashioned. I just thought they could have modernized it a little better. It also thought that it was really over-priced, and that kind of turned me off.

Windham Terrace was very nice, but we felt it was too expensive for us. We wouldn't be comfortable worrying if we would have enough money for the rent every month. But it was very nice and it had a cozy feeling about it. The people were sitting around in a lounge with a fireplace, while some residents were in the kitchen. The staff and rooms were very nice. If it had been much cheaper to live there, we probably would have done so.
