My Grandmother has been living in the Promenade for 10 years. The staff and facilities are wonderful and have been consistently well kept throughout her time here. I cannot say enough kind things about the staff, they are all very patient, kind and caring.

I'm going to the Promenade on the River. I chose it because it is very close to the Riverwalk. There are multiple activities around there. It's a nice neighborhood. The facilities are very nice and it seems like it is going to fit my needs very well. The staff took me around for an extended tour, and she was very friendly and very helpful. They only had one room available and I took it. It's small, but it's relatively inexpensive because it's so small. They offer three meals a day, indoor exercise, activities, a roof deck with excellent views of the river and the surrounding city, a roof deck heated pool, and just routine activities offered in independent living complexes. I've looked at other places, and they were all very nice. It's just that this one was nicer, and the location is fantastic. You walk right out the door and walk 100 feet and you're at the Truckee River, and you walk two-tenths of a mile and you're at the Riverwalk, which is the greatest place in Reno for restaurants, a movie theater, everything.

We have chosen Promenade on the River for my parents. It was just everything that we were looking for. They have full kitchens in their apartments, and it is just beautiful. That's a big deal because my mom is gluten free (she has celiac), so she can't have gluten. It was the big selling point, and it was cheaper than any of the ones in Carson. The dining area is beautiful. The facility is absolutely gorgeous. They do have activities, but I can't really think of what they are now. They have a library. They have a gorgeous patio, a swimming pool, a hot tub, and everything. They have transportation available, and an underground parking garage for everybody's vehicles. It's amazing

Promenade on the River is a beautiful place. The rooms are very, very nice, very well thought out, and beautifully maintained. It is absolutely first class. What it does not have is any guest parking, and that could be a serious concern because it's only on-street parking. It's a residential area, though, and you may or may not find a spot. You may have to walk several blocks instead, and that's difficult. It would be not a good place to try to find a parking space at night. There really aren't any grounds. It's just a building, but it's beautiful, and it has every kind of amenity. It's a well-established place. It's not too big, but without guest parking, that's an issue for me. They have a swimming pool, a hot tub, and various gathering places that are very attractive. They have two restaurants: a casual one and a more formal one. The surroundings are just impeccable; they're to my tastes. They're traditional and the color schemes are lovely. The building dates to 2002, and most of the staff have been there the entire time, which really says a lot. The one other thing besides no guest parking is most of the rooms, at least the affordable ones, have no balcony and no outdoor space to themselves. Most of the new places, as I read online, have either a balcony or a patio, but this place does not. They have eighty-three apartments, and they're all independent. There's no medical care provided by the facility at all. it's exactly what I wanted.

The people at Promenade on the River were alert and oriented. The room we saw was already set up, and there were pictures on the wall. They take the residents to the casinos, and they have an exercise room, a game room, a heated swimming pool, and a coffee bar, which looks like you're stepping into a little coffee shop. The dining area had tablecloths on the table, they were set up nicely, and it had a view of the Truckee River. They have a garden area. They have people that you can hire if you need assistance. It's a good place if you have an active lifestyle. People go for walks in the garden or along the Truckee River. It was very nicely done.

Promenade on the River was a beautiful facility. The staff were all nice, very good, and professional. If you send anybody there, they're going to want to be there if they can afford it. The location is wonderful. It's right there on the river. If you look down, there's a park, and you can walk to any of the casinos. There's a 10-screen theater about five blocks away. It's one of the best facilities I've ever seen. I went to Las Vegas and looked and it's not comparable. The rooms were clean and nice. They had a little living room, a bedroom, and a sink. I didn't notice too much furniture in there. They have all kinds of activities, a bar, a lounge, and a wonderful breakfast buffet. It's a high-end place.

We are on a waiting list for Promenade. I think it’s absolutely wonderful, very homey, and wasn’t aesthetic or medical. The units were lovely, and everything was very clean. They had two beautiful dining areas, but we didn’t check the food. They allowed assistance for my mother-in-law, so we just need to hire someone to come in and do that.

There were different sizes of rooms at Promenade on the River. They're all clean and inviting. The staff treated me beautifully. They were very helpful, polite, and patient. They were great. They had swimming pool, a pool table, and they sit and throw a basketball. They had a lot of activities for people who want to do something.

Promenade has a beautiful view and a beautiful location by the river. It has beautiful amenities. The dining room is nice. The monthly cost is however expensive, and the units are small.

Promenade On the River was a nice place. The rooms used to be condos, so the place was not built for a retirement facility. Most of the wealthy seniors in Reno stayed there. There was a bus that took the residents to trips. The food was great as well as everything in there.
