Allegro is like 5 minutes from our house. We've got my husband's name on a list and they have a room, but he's not really ready to go to a place yet. I already put a deposit down. The place is absolutely gorgeous, it's only 2 years old, and they had a lot of outdoor areas, balconies, a garden, and a kind of park off to the side of the building. They had a separate dining hall for the memory care floor because they're kind of on a set schedule. People that have Alzheimer's and dementia do better when they have kind of a routine. They have separate living areas for women and men, so they're not mixed together. He would have his own place. They have the same little entryway, but there are two doors in that entryway, one goes to one room, and one goes to the other. I really liked the way the rooms were set up, and the bathroom was inside. I toured several other places, and I did not like the setup of the bedrooms at all. The people that I worked with were just delightful. They couldn't have been nicer. They know I'm going through chemo, and I just had my first treatment a week and a half ago. One of the gals I was dealing with sent a little care package and left it on my front step. They just have been so nice. Someone that works in the front desk is a young fellow. I've had dealings with him, and he just bent over backwards to be helpful. The whole staff was just very, very nice. They knew all the people by name. I know they couldn't show me a lot of the place because of COVID, but I did get to see a couple of bedrooms, the floor, and the restaurant. I saw it being built and I thought it was going to be out of my price range, but it was one of the most reasonably priced of all of them. I'd rate them a 10.

I like Allegro Richmond Heights very much. It was a little out of my range as far as price, but the place itself was beautiful and it looked like it was kept up well. I didn't take an extensive tour at the time, all I wanted was price ranges, but it was very beautiful. I don't know how the employees are and I didn't see the whole place, but everything I saw looked great, and everyone I came in contact with was very nice. Mine was just a general tour, and I didn't get into the nitty-gritty of things, but I was impressed.
