We chose Cedarhurst of Arnold for my mother because of the fact that it was new, and we were able to secure a room on the first floor, which walks out to a patio. They seem to be really taking great care of her. They are very attentive, and everybody wants to be on a first name basis. We tried eating a couple of times for different meals, and they were all very good. There are plenty of activities available for different skill levels. They have a secure courtyard. The people, like my mother, have the little patios on the first floor. They are able to go out in a very secured area. There is a fire pit, and they do barbecues in that secured area.

I visited Cedarhurst of Arnold. I liked the atmosphere and the style. It was a very new place. I liked how they had things set up for entertainment, activities, cognitive, and everything like that. I did not like their pricing though. Their pricing is out of sight. The receptionist was amazing and the tour was great. It was very clean. The amenities are all there, but the prices are not reflective of this area.

Extremely dissatisfied with the level of competency of this facility, customer service up to the corporate level, and follow through of their own business practices or “claims”. My grandmother became a resident of this facility and after falling 4 times, needed hospitalization and outside therapy services. She is no longer welcome back at Cedarhurst. To me, this means that either in 10.5 days time, my grandmother has significantly regressed past the maximum level of care, or her evaluation should have never allowed her to be accepted as a resident in the first place. The latter of which is more likely true. This company claims to have a 60 day money back guarantee. After 10 days in this facility and just over a month past her move in date, local offices have FINALLY returned calls and DENIED our refund request. It has been less than 60 days since she moved in and now she is not allowed back. We’re STILL waiting on a returned call from corporate. If your looking for a care facility that follows through in all their claims of care, service, and best practices then this is NOT the place for you.

Cedarhurst of Arnold was wonderful, but it was more expensive than other places and didn't offer any different kind of care. I like the light and brightness of the place, and the room sizes were pretty good and well-lit. Everyone seemed very courteous and friendly. The person who gave me the tour was fantastic, very knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Their dining area was clean and very light.

I toured Cedarhurst of Arnold. They offer you the room at a set rate and then there are three tiers of assisted living that go with that. You can take the A portion which is just making sure you make it to meals and making sure you take your medicine and offering you help with anything you need. Then they have a second-tier where they come to your room and help you get dressed and assist you with your getting around and things like that. And then they have a third tier where they will care for you if you're bedridden or having a lot of trouble getting around in your wheelchair or you need help getting in and out of bed or making it to the bathroom or getting dressed. If you need a lot of care, 24/7 care, then they offer that level as well. It can be as simple as just the room, or you can have any one of the three tiers of assisted living, but all of that comes with a price. It's brand new and it's very nice but it is significantly more expensive. There's a very nice dining room, a piano room, and a meeting room where a bunch of ladies were playing some kind of card game. There's a small gymnasium, a small chapel, and a large outdoor area in the middle of the facility that is done very nicely. There's a giant wood-burning firepit under a big pergola that is nice for like socials. There's also a covered picnic area in that large common area. There's a bunch of little seating places around flower pots, so you could have six or seven different families meeting their elderly family members there, and no one would be in each other's way. It's a lot of space, so that was nice having that big common veranda that you could come into from one of about six or seven different doors. You had your room and then you had a common area in the middle where you could meet your family or hang out outside and get some sun or sit out on one of the many benches out there and read. I like that aspect of it. It has two elevators that go up and down the three floors. It has some nice views out the back and then some views of the road out the front that was not too terrific. They offered a lot of very nice amenities, and it was very well kept, and the staff was very friendly. It's a top-tier place.

My mom is at Cedarhurst of Arnold and I chose this place really because of the location. It's a mile from my house and a mile from my work, and everything has been wonderful. It's a brand new facility, so it's beautiful, the staff has been just incredible helping us with the process, and her room is like a one-bedroom apartment with a little bathroom and a kitchenette. Overall, she's been pretty happy with everything. The dining area is great. It's big, wide, and airy. They have plenty of tables and the residents have enough space. They get waited on, so it's all like brought to them. They have a movie theater, a courtyard garden area where the residents can do gardening, and they have several different living spaces that the residents and families can utilize for gatherings instead of just having to be in the apartment. Then they have a schedule every day that has at least six activities throughout the day that they can attend. Also, it has a beauty shop.

Cedarhurst of Arnold was brand new. It's close to my home, and they were more than just a normal facility. Everyone that I talked to was very nice. The rooms were very nice, too. It was pretty close to a highway and nearby stores, so it was good. The dining room was big and clean, but when we went there, there wasn't any furniture yet. They had a memory care attached to it as well.
