My dad moved to Garden Place Columbia because it's close to me. He could have his dog there. They were very professional, very polite, and very helpful. The food has good taste, good presentation, good quality, and quantity. The facility is very clean and updated. They have bands that come, they have bonfires, they have trips, and they go on all kinds of activities that they do.

I toured Garden Place Columbia with my dad. It's much larger. It was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were fabulous. The person who gave me the tour was wonderful. She was great. Their dining area looks ideal. It's perfect. They have rooms for activities and then they have a list posted of what the activities are going to be for the next month. I was very impressed with that. The facility was beautiful. It looks new and well maintained.

My mom was at Garden Place Columbia for a couple of months. I liked it because it was bright and cheery. They had a lot of activity. My mom was in assisted living, and she did fall, but they did notify me right away. So there's nothing that I feel bad about there. I think that they did a good job. The facility was very clean. I would sit with my mom, and the food looked good. The food was cooked nicely. My mom enjoyed it. She said she liked it. Her apartment was nice. It was a small apartment. It was clean and neat. We had to furnish it ourselves, but that's okay.

Garden Place Columbia has impressed us. The price was really good. They lock in a permanent price. Very positive staff. The facilities are in wonderful condition. The rooms are nice. The activities director is really on the ball. It seems like they have a lot of activities for the people. Their menu looks great. I'm just very impressed with everything they do. They have a salon and they have a chapel, a nice dining area, and a courtyard.

Garden Place Columbia was smaller and had less flexibility for the residents in what they wanted to do. We wanted to be able to go over there and visit my sister and then eat with her, which was fine there, but they had to have a couple of hours' notice before we could have a meal with her. Their rooms were also much smaller and fairly dark. There weren't a lot of outside windows or anything, but other than that the staff was wonderful and the residents seemed very happy. I wouldn't have had any hesitation to place my sister there. The facilities were very clean and the layout was easy for someone to navigate.

My mother-in-law is in Garden Place Columbia. We chose it because it was just convenient at the time, and they had respite care. The staff have all been very accommodating. I would say the food was fine, and it was just a transition thing. She likes cooking her own food, so it would be hard to please her. I've only seen the room from the outside, and it seemed average, though it was clean, and well-kept. She's only in a studio right now. The bathrooms are also well accommodating for elderlies.

I know a little bit about Garden Place. I know people that are in there and they love it. I have been there for a meal and for an activity. I met quite a bit of the staff member. They come to the senior site that I went to and they run bingo. They work well with the seniors. The staff is good. Everybody in the dining area was very friendly. The food was good. I have only seen one or two rooms. They have quite a few activities. They have bingo, they play music, and there are various organizations who come in and volunteer their time to do things with the seniors.

Garden Place of Columbia was very decent. The girl walked me around and actually talked to one of the residents more than I did to her. The place was spacious and very clean. They had a snack bar with soda and whatever drinks they wanted always open during the day, so they could go over there anytime if they wanted something to eat.
