My mother is in Amira Choice Minnetonka. It's clean and newer for the most part, but we've had some trouble with RAs and stuff. The help comes and goes so fast. They just changed their name. It's getting a little better. I think they're all having trouble with keeping help and hiring. It's just not a good situation right now. A couple of RAs are real good, but I hardly get the scores they're coming up with her blood sugar. They charge us extra for them to check her blood sugar, but we can't get the results. There are a couple of good ones, but there are some that are just the opposite. It depends on which RA you have. The food is OK, but they have too many sweets and not enough fruit and being a diabetic, that's a problem. We bring in our own non-sugar juice and our own no-sugar type of ice cream because they were giving her sweet cake and cookies and juice with a lot of sugar in it. I keep catching new RAs. We're bringing all the stuff in and the new RAs are giving her the juice that's full of sugar. We have to go every day just to check on them. They have some people come in and play music once in a while or some guy that comes in and talks history. They do some stuff. I wish they had more after dinner. Dinner's at 5:00 and they usually don't do anything after dinner, so that's kind of a long evening for them. It's expensive and sometimes I get pretty fed up because we're getting poor help. We also had to bring our own juice and ice cream. They have a fenced-in patio.

It was beautiful. It was finished a couple of months ago. It's beautiful, but you will be paying almost $2,400 to get in and over $3,000 for two people. If you're a millionaire, you're good. The gal who was showing us around was absolutely a five, or whatever rating is the highest. I would love to live there, but it's expensive. The rooms were nice and large.
