I visit this facility/house and I was very impressed with the setting in inside, sharing rooms and private, open living area and dinning area. The staff was very friendly and helpfful and the residents was enjoying some snack at that time outside, very nice outside sitting area. The house is very clean I really like it. Also the price was good compare with others providing 24 hours assistance and care. I choose this facility for my mother.

When I visited Livonia Manor, I felt like it was home. I knew from the start that this would be the best place for my mother. There was a great atmosphere in the house and everything was organized. I loved the bathrooms and the rooms that they sleep in. It really did feel like home. The ladies participated in various activities and had delicious little snack between lunch and dinner. The food there was great, and home made! The deck was really nice and had spots for the ladies to sit outside and relax, with a gazebo to protect them from any sunburns. I couldn't have asked for more, there is no place like home, and this facility makes it feel that way.

I visited Livonia Manor and it was beautifully decorated and clean. It had a friendly atmosphere. It was in a good location, but the drawbacks were, it was too expensive for my mom and the residents really had nowhere to go. You had the family room and your bedroom. Other than that, there was no other place for people to go. It was like a big house. I felt like they were not socially active. There were six ladies that lived there and they could socialized with each other sitting on the couch, but there were nowhere for them to walk and they were the same six people day in and day out. I didn't care for that I felt like it was socially stapling. I only met the lady who ran it and she seemed very nice, but like I said there wasn't much to it. It was like me owning a giant house and inviting you over and saying "Now, you can only go in my bathroom and in my living room". That's it. It was like: "Okay, now what would I do?" I couldn't imagine living there day in and day out.
