My wife moved into Appledorn Assisted Living Center South. The staff takes care of her every day. There are shows or they take her outside on the patio. You can go outside. They do laundry every week. They clean up the apartment every week. And they check on her every night and every day. They're friendly. The facility is fairly good.

I visited Appledorn Assisted Living South for my father. It really struck me that of all three places I visited, it had the nicest appearance inside. It was clean and open. It almost made you feel like home. Even the dining room had tablecloths on the table. I was there around dinner time, and the food smelled good. The staff who helped me out was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and even gave me their number if I had more questions afterwards.

I will be moving into Appledorn Assisted Living South. It's in a convenient part of town. It is placed on a very pretty piece of property, so it's pleasant to look out and the people are nice. It's extremely clean and the work is done regularly. I've never had a reason to be concerned or upset. I saw the dining room and the lounges. The dining room was clean and orderly. I got a double room, so there are lots of space. They have a beauty shop. I saw bingo and there are a lot of musical concerts.

My mom will move into Appledorn Assisted Living Center - South next week. It's a clean, spacious, and active community. They have transportation, meals, great health care, and we felt good about it. The staff is very patient, understanding, and professional.

My visit at Appledorn was very positive. The staff was very pleasant, and we liked the place itself as well. We loved everything about it. We were treated very well. It was nicely updated, and we liked that: high ceilings, nice cabinetry; it was laid out well.

We also went to Appledorn. I have a friend who lives there. They clean her apartment every other week. I am extremely familiar with that one. They have a huge community there, quite a bit of acres. They offer independent, assisted, and nursing home. There’s a separate building for each. My friend lives in a brand-new one that just opened a year ago in October. They serve one meal a day in the evening. However, they pretty much always have fruit baskets out, cookies, or crackers. They have pull-strings in every room, so that is a beautiful community, just absolutely beautiful.

We have had my father at Appledorn Assisted Living Centers for about a week now. Their rooms are very nice and spacious. The staff is excellent. Everything is excellent, and we are very pleased. They offer four to five activities every day. They have exercise, movies, and music.

My mom is in Appledorn. I like that they have independent living. They also have a retirement community, and they have a lot of activities. There are a lot of personal hands-on things. It is very bright. It is not a rest home. It is an assisted living, so, the level of care is based on your needs. All of the meds are administered by med techs so you know that the person that you have in there gets their meds on a regular basis, as they should. There is a visiting doctor and a visiting podiatrist. You can have their services too, if you want. They have meals. They have access to coffee 24/7. They have nursing staff available. I think they are definitely a caring facility. If you have concerns, they listen.

We did move my parents to Appledorn Assisted Living Center, and I like the people that work there. I like how friendly they are and understanding. They have two adjoining rooms so they have lots of space. They don’t have kitchen, but they do have two bathrooms. The facility is nice and clean. They are very happy with the food and they have diabetic option which is nice for my dad.

Appledorn does accept Medicaid waiver. I also believe they have outstanding care there. Their rooms were very nice and their extracurricular activities were well-planned. They weren't also as pricey as the other facility, but it was the second most expensive as far as cost. Overall, it was an excellent facility and if we have an event that Mother has to be moved, this would be my second choice.
