This Assisted Living Community meets or exceeds everything I need for ongoing care. A friendly place where the staff clearly are concerned that our needs are met. It is a cheerful place where coffee is always available.

When we were looking for a place to help mom and dad with their increasing needs as they aged, I toured several places. Riley’s Grove simply spoke to me. Everyone was so friendly, from the greeter, kitchen and cleaning staff, caregivers and administrators. Since they have been there, they are always responsive to any of my concerns and questions. The room is beautiful and comfortable and is well maintained. I’ve eaten there a few times, and the meals are good.

This is by far the BEST senior living community in the area. The community is clean. There are lots of activities to keep the residents busy and the residents are well cared for. This was the best place for my mom as she entered this new chapter in life. Riley’s Grove staff has been so helpful and supportive through each transition and they have significantly helped to maintain my mom’s dignity and quality of life despite her declining cognitive function. I would highly recommend this community to others who are looking for a safe place for their loved one.

My husband lived at Riley's Grove and he was given excellent care. The staff were friendly, professional, caring and tried their best to make him as comfortable and at home as possible. Heather and Laurie, especially stood out but everyone was super nice and I wish I could name them all here. I would not hesitate to recommend Riley's Grove to anyone.

We moved my mother from another memory care facility and wished we had done it far sooner — the difference in care and atmosphere was like night and day. Riley’s Grove is clean, bright and contemporary with a home-like feel but more importantly, the care givers actively interact with the residents and seem to really get to know them and genuinely care about each one. The food is all made in house and is quite good and fresh. The administration also actively seeks out feedback and any suggestions for transitioning as well as improvements. My mother is far better treated and cared for at Riley’s Grove and I feel comfortable knowing she is there.

Riley's Grove is wonderful. My mom has a beautiful room with a big window to watch the wildlife. The food is excellent. The chefs make everything from scratch. They have lots of activities for her to do as well. I could not ask for a better place for her to be.

Riley's Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care was beautiful and up-to-date. There's plenty of staff and activities. They were very attentive and informative. They spent lots of time with us and answered our questions. There was a birthday party going on that day. They recently had a 4th of July celebration out on the back deck and when we had gotten there, they had just finished up a social hour. The apartments were very clean, very immaculate, and very welcoming. The dining area was very comfortable and also very clean. The outdoor spaces were very beautiful and again, very welcoming, and very comfortable for any resident to be there. There were flowers and places to sit.

Our tour of Riley's Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care was very positive and very professional. The facility was very updated and fairly new. I didn't get much conversation with the staff other than the person we took the tour with, but she was very professional and very knowledgeable about all the questions we had. They had sitting areas, an outdoor area, and they had activities. The menu looked like they had plenty of variety.

Riley Grove has been a great fit for my mom. She has adjusted well and the residents are treated so well. The facility is welcoming, ver appealing and laid out so well for memory care residents. Everything is easily accessible and safe. The food is wonderful, the management, administration and care staff are approachable and kind. Always willing to go the extra mile. The activities are planned so well according to current happenings…Tulip Time, March Madness, holidays…always something to do to remind residents what’s going on in the world. Activity director is great! There is a beautiful area where residents can go out and sit anytime to enjoy the outdoors. Safety is very important and well managed! A hair salon with a wonderful hairdresser!! I can’t say enough good about this facility! We love Riley Grove!

I recently moved my mom to Riley’s Grove Memory Care. The staff did an excellent job of helping my mom acclimate to the new surroundings, treating her with respect and supporting her when needed. The living areas are bright, clean, and well planned out for people with dementia. The life enrichment staff goes above and beyond providing an array of wonderful activities for the residents to attend. I believe it was a good decision to move my mom to Riley’s Grove and am thankful for the great care she is receiving.

I had a very nice tour at Riley's Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care. It's only two years old and so it's a beautiful facility, and the apartment was extremely well thought out and designed. There was nothing that I didn't like about Riley's Grove, I felt it was a state-of-the-art facility. The staff who gave the tour was very generous, very informative, and very cordial. I didn't have a meal there, but the dining area was beautiful, it's large and open, has a very high ceiling, is very gracious, and looks outdoors. I think it's a nice experience for the residents to get away from their apartment, to get into a much larger space. They have a walking path outdoors that sort of goes around the whole facility.

Riley's Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care is a beautiful facility. They have pleasant people. We were touring memory care, and the memory care rooms were just wonderful. We observed staff that were working with people. It looked like they were a good and caring community. They were having lunch at the time, and the food looked like it was good.

Riley's Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care is a very nice community. The rooms were very nicely appointed. They looked like regular apartments. They had very nice grounds behind them. They had different levels of care, so my mother would only be paying for the level of care that she needs at the time. It was a good price point compared to some of the others. The staff members all seemed very nice, and everyone I interacted with was very positive. It was a good interaction. I was left with a positive impact from the staff. The only thing that's frustrating is that they don't have any availability right now, but I was impressed by the place. The person who gave the tour was very helpful and answered all the questions.

Everyone at Riley’s Grove are wonderful! The entire staff are so very friendly and it doesn’t take long for them to get to know each individual, making the transition of moving in very comforting for both the resident and their family. There are various activities all throughout the day for all who wish to participate, all printed out for the residents on a monthly calendar, which makes it easy for them to follow. Activities like group singing, daily exercises, outdoor games, bingo, trivia, crafts and so much more. Not a day goes by without activities planned. The rooms are very comfortable and is exactly all the residents would need. They are very clean and quiet! Laundry service is provided which was a great help for us! Riley’s Grove is such a beautiful place and to know that your loved one is treated with love and dignity unconditionally! The decision to move my mother here was the best decision I could have ever made for her!

The staff is excellent! They provide great support to my mother and communicate well with our family. The chef prepares very good meals, and is accommodating to my mother's tastes. if there is an area for improvement, it would be cleaning the room including floors and sinks.

My mother is a current resident of Riley's Grove Memory Care. I highly appreciate this community for her for several reasons: 1) The building. It is newer, beautiful, clean, and it always smells clean. The layout is great for walking and gathering, and the Memory Care residents are free to walk throughout the entire community. 2) The grounds. The outdoor areas are beautiful as well, and offer safe walking and sitting spaces. 3) The food. The meals always smell and look amazing! 4) The activities. The care team offers a variety of activities, capability and interest-wise, and they encourage the residents to participate. The Memory Care residents have some of their own activities, and they are also welcome to share in the assisted living activities. There are occasional field trip offerings, too! Devotions and worship are part of the weekly schedule. 5) The staff. This is the biggest plus - the staff is amazing and truly cares for the residents. They get to know the residents as individuals. I've seen them both celebrate and cry with the residents and their families. I truly appreciate how this community strives for excellence in caring for its residents, and I am grateful that it is an option for my mother!

Our dad was not happy about going into a “home” but he could not live alone. It took about 3 months and he now he absolutely loves it. The staff is amazing. They keep the residents busy with fun things to do throughout the week. The social aspect is so good for him… the residents enjoy each other… they sit out in the courtyard in the spring and summer and love it. The food, which was a big concern for him, is excellent. The menu is so appropriate for the older people they are serving. Dad’s room is perfect for him… nice big windows, beautiful bathroom, small fridge counter etc. It is a beautiful facility! Sunday church service, special outings, bingo, crafts, family events, etc. are just a few things that are offered. The director makes sure we are kept informed about everything. We absolutely love it! Most importantly, dad is happy and content.

It was lovely at Riley's Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care. It's a very nice facility. It's very light and bright. It's in a nice setting that's more suburban or rural than the other two. They weren't on the main street, so they had a lot of grounds that were just well-manicured and pretty. The staff was very helpful and responsive. They had lots of activities listed similar to the other facility. They get their residents out as often as they want to get out to various activities. I specifically asked about places they might go including going to Meijer Gardens here in Grand Rapids, and the staff said, that was one of the favorite places for people to go. It sounds like they get people out and about as well as having activities within the facility. The rooms were light and bright like the facility itself. They had a choice of rooms with either a slider to the outside with a patio or a bay window.

The tour I had at Riley's Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care was excellent. It was very good and I was impressed. I looked at their memory care for my wife. The lady that toured me was more than pleasant and the staff was very friendly. The facility was very nice and the cleanliness looked excellent. The dining room looked very adequate too.

I love Riley's Grove Assisted Living & Memory Care. That's where I would like to move my mom if I do move her. I thought they were wonderful. I toured the assisted living and the memory care. The people were very, very welcoming. It's a relatively new building. Everything was very open. It was very homey. They have a lot of amenities. The rooms were laid out a little bit nicer than where she's at. They have a beauty shop where she's at and Riley's has a beauty shop, too, but she also does nails, which my mother would love. If we were to have a family party like a taco party or something, we could come in and dine in the room that they have that is separate from their dining room. It was a gated community, so being that she has dementia (We are not sure if she has Alzheimer's yet), she would be pretty safe. Safety is my biggest concern. The dining room was very nice. I looked at the menu and it looked very nice. The location is wonderful. It's pretty centrally located for me because I live in Hamilton. The other thing is that they do a lot of activities with their people, and they take them on a lot of outings. The other day, the residents participate in a walkathon for Alzheimer's, and I thought that was special. A local business donated money that if they walk, they will get this money. The man who's in charge took all of these patients that were able out, and they had a really wonderful time. The staff who walked me through was wonderful. My mom has a little dog, and they don't have any dogs right now, they have a couple of cats, but one of the apartments we toured had a little patio cement slab outside the slider and they said that they would be willing to put a little fence up there for her dog. They were just absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to be accommodating.

Wonderful staff & facility. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Within one hour of my father moving in, everyone stopped to introduce themselves and welcome him. The next day, any staff not working the day before did the same thing. They get to know the resident, their likes, dislikes, and take the time to talk to them. They are very prompt at answering when residents push their pendant. Staff also gets to know the family and keeps them well informed. The entire facility gives a calming, home feeling. Always fresh smelling (no odors) and well kept. Lots of windows. Security is tight but not obvious. They follow COVID protocols to keep residents safe but again its not obvious...just part of the structure. Lots of variety in the food menu. They always have a standard list of food if you don't like the menu item. Kitchen staff know the residents and interact with them at meal time. Lots of opportunities to get involved with activities but never pushed. Everyone receives a personal invite to activities. The facility tour was very informative. They answered my questions before I could ask them. No pressure from the staff during the tour. I visited on my own and than returned for a second & third visit and they were always welcoming and open to questions. If you are considering assisted living, please make Riley's Grove one of your visits.

Beautiful new facility. Mom feels like she moved to a new “condo” not a room. But more than the wonderful accommodations is the AMAZING STAFF!!! We are so pleased fo have them taking care of mom :) They work so hard to meet the residents needs on every level.

My Mom went there this past spring for respite care so I could go on Spring Break with my husband. At the end of the two weeks, she did not want to leave! She loved it and she is happy and socializing! The interactions with others has changed her immensely; her Alzheimer's disease has not advanced. In fact, in my non-medical opinion, being a part of this caring community has reversed some of her symptoms!! Riley's Grove has changed our lives!

We chose Riley's Grove for our parents for many reasons. The size of the apartments allowed us to make it feel more home like helping calm their anxiety of moving to a new place. The indoor and outdoor gathering areas encourage residents to meet new friends and mingle for events such as watching the Tigers game on the large TV, complete with snacks and penants or the patio dessert and music hour. The staff is extremely approachable and very understanding of the challenges of assisted living and are always offering encouragement to the residents and are ready to answer any questions family members may have. We have been kept informed of any issues or potential health concerns they may notice. Even discussing the little things such as different dinner utensils to make eating easier for my mom. Overall, we are very satisfied with the care and value Riley's Grove is providing for our parents.

The staff has always been exceedingly helpful & friendly. The facility is spacious & warm & truly feels like a nice home a resident would eagerly choose, & friends & relatives would gladly visit. There are a wide variety of interesting activities for mature adults, as opposed to other facilities that tend to only offer modified preschool arts & crafts. The musical activities seem to be the most appreciated.
