I am so very grateful that my mother resided at Thrive. The care she received was excellent. Most importantly, my mother was treated with sincere kindness and respect. Even when someone cannot communicate verbally, they know kindness and love. The caregivers had been absolutely wonderful to my mother in aspects of care.

Without any question, Thrive is the best place we could have ever found for my Mom. I never knew places like Thrive existed, but when I was introduced to the concept it was a game changer for my Mom's comfort and well being. Imagine living in an actual home with 4-5 other residents and around the clock care with staff who are truly invested in each resident. Yes, an actual home that feels like home with home-cooked meals, music playing around the house, and daily activities. I honestly can't say enough good things about Thrive - and especially the owner, Carolyn, who is a wonderful, caring woman who works around the clock for her residents.

No question about it. This well maintained small group home was best for my mom. The quality of care, concern, cleanliness, kindness, professionalism and support for my mom and our family was evident from day one and continued throughout her four year stay. Thrive offers a "homey" feeling to both the resident and family members and by far out beats any large corporation assisted living memory care care option that I experienced with my mom. It is hard to place a beloved parent anywhere. Yet, I always knew my mom was safe, taken care of well emotionally and physically and when I had to say good-bye after a visit, I knew I left her in trusted and caring hands. What a relief this is when you have to place a loved one. I felt relief and blessed when I found Thrive and highly recommend this option for long term care.

I have a close family member living here and I couldn't be happier for the care and kindness she is receiving. This is a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood- a residential setting, unlike the majority of institutionalized settings that I really didn't want- I was looking for a family - like environment so that she'd get the care and attention she deserved and needed. I cannot rave enough about Thrive. Staff is attentive and caring. They treat residents like their own family. There is just a handful of residents, so each person gets their undivided attention. My family member has her own bedroom and access to a bathroom just across the hall. She is always well groomed, well nourished, her clothes are clean, and she is happy and healthy! Her room is always tidy and *super* clean, as is the rest of the house. As for that, the home is decorated beautifully and is quite spacious. Residents can relax in the sitting room to watch TV in large comfortable recliners. There are books and games and other activities to enjoy. They can rest and socialize in the living room. There's a separate dining room for dinner. And the kitchen is a popular area to gather. It's all so very cozy. The house is spotless. There's an air of welcoming when we come to visit. Unlike places we had visited before choosing Thrive, the residents are NOT all sitting in wheelchairs in front of a TV set for hours. They truly feel like they are in their own home with the freedom to get up and move around and choose activities of interest. In warmer months, there is a gorgeous backyard full of trees and flowers where we can visit and where residents can relax. The food is very carefully thought out so that the residents get nutritious meals and snacks. Considering how things were in her own home, this is a much improved environment; one on one care (due to so few residents), stimulating brain activities, socializing, safety features, and an environment of warmth, love and caring. I also LOVE the fact that the owner is an experienced RN with years and years of experience helping folks with memory issues. She is very involved in everyone's care and reaches out to us- her family- if there are any concerns. She helped me tremendously when we transitioned our family member from her home to Thrive. She totally understands the anxieties of how difficult this can be. If you're feeling anxious or guilty, or worried about a loved one's care, you can truly put that aside when you choose Thrive as a home for your loved ones. I am so grateful- I can now sleep at night knowing my loved one is safe and happy. Thank you, Carolyn, and all the staff at Thrive!
