My sister is in rehab at Wilson Health Care Center. She's very comfortable where she is, but she has not been there very long. Her room is OK. She likes having people around her all day. The caregivers are OK, but my sister is difficult.

My 87 year old father broke his hip and was admitted here on June 6, 2022. Their COVID policy required him to be in isolation for five days although he was fully vaccinated and had 2 negative Covid tests. He was in bed and immobile despite family members complaining. Therapy was very minimal and he was not even put in a chair. He then developed wheezing from being immobile and was then given another 5 days of isolation even with a negative Covid test. Subsequently he developed numerous infections and has been in the hospital for 6 days. He also has blisters on his behind from being in bed. The hospital staff was appalled. When his items were picked up, the nurse asked if he would be returning. (He would be subject to another 5 days of isolation). Please be warned that this could be detrimental to your loved one.
