My father has moved into Woodside Village. It's a 55 and older community. It is diverse. You got different cultures and ethnicities there. They have a game room, a theater room, a library, common areas, spaces, a patio, and grills. There's a lot of stuff for them to do there onsite. They don't have to stay in their apartments. They could come downstairs and do multiple activities. They have different nights like bingo night and game night and stuff of that nature. It is secure. You have to be buzzed in. If you're a tenant, you use your key fob to get into the building. They have a desk there where visitors have to go to sign in, so that way they know who's in the building. They have a loading dock when you're moving in. You go to the loading dock and you bring your things up on the elevator. It is on the side of the building, so it doesn't interrupt the other tenants coming and going. The apartment is nice. My father has a one-bedroom, one-bath. He controls his own heating and air conditioning. The kitchen is nice. It is income-based. The staff is very professional and very nice. They were very nice and very professional. The building was clean. The units were clean. I had trouble with flushing the toilet when we did the walkthrough. The staff was right there within 15 minutes to make sure everything was OK. She showed me how to flush it, and I just didn't push hard enough. Other than that, everything was fine. Meals are not included. My father has to prepare his own meal. They don't have a cafeteria, but they have a pantry. If he has trouble paying for groceries, he can go down to the pantry and grocery shop for free. It's normal pricing for a one-bedroom, one-bath.

I toured Woodside Village. It's beautiful. They have a beautiful exercise room. They have a beautiful laundry room, and lots of washing machines and dryers because they don't have any in the unit. They have a beauty salon there. They have a pool room, a library, and a computer room. The staff was very knowledgeable about what they were doing. They're very accommodating. They try to help you as much as they can. They're very professional. The facility was very clean and very upscale. When you walk in, it's a place to be.

The Woodside Village was a nice place. They had nice apartments. They had some one-bedrooms available when I was there. The grounds were nice. The lady in the management I talked to was very helpful. They also had two-bedroom apartments. They had an exercise room and a movie room. They had a bus to take you to the grocery store. It's right next to a church.

I was told by the salesperson at Woodside Village that there was a washer and dryer in the unit and it was at least 1,800 square feet. That just turned me off right there because I want my own washer and dryer, and I don't want to go down to the basement to wash my clothes and pay. The place was clean, but it was too small, and no activities going on because of COVID. The staff was good, but I didn't understand why she told me on the phone those things, and I didn't see it, especially the washer and dryer bit. I would have to get my own microwave, so it doesn't come with all the equipment in the kitchen that you would want to be there. I was disappointed. I felt a little too claustrophobic in there. COVID was in place, no food, no nothing. She took me on a tour of the dining area and things like that, but they wouldn't do anything because of COVID. One other thing was the hot water tank was in the closet of the master bedroom, and that's a no-no.

I went to Woodside Village. It's nice but it didn't have the restrictions on a meal plan. The staff is fine and I liked the rooms very much. It's all fine and I wanted to live there. The outdoor spaces were nice, I liked the most are the apartments, they were spacious and it was well kept up, so it was nice.
