We moved to Morning Pointe after searching numerous communities. The management team has made my loved one feel as though they are still within her home. The food is exceptional, and the entire atmosphere is wonderful. I will definitely be recommending this community to anyone who asks.

Morning Pointe of Lexington East seemed great. The people were very nice. There were just certain things the place didn't offer that I needed for my mother. I don't remember what their reasoning was, but they said that they weren't allowed to hand feed or spoon feed patients, and my mom would need that, and the pricing was very expensive and not affordable for us. Everything else seemed pretty decent. Their menu didn't seem very off from the other place I've been to. They had similar types of menus, especially for things that can be prepared every day. It was very nice and clean, but I couldn't remember my way through the place. There were long hallways, but it was a nice open area when you first walked in. The memory care facility was pretty nice. No red flags or anything bad I saw. One of the directors there was just really nice and very honest with us. She said herself she couldn't afford to bring her parents here, like she understood us on the price range situation and whatnot. She even recommended us other places that were cheaper. She still helped us out in the way we needed. The staff was very nice. They even gave us a little candied pecan thing on our way out.

Terrible things noticed on memory care side. Moving grandfather out!! The ED never, never walks over there to keep eye on things, and to make sure things clean, residents engaged, clean, doesn't check rooms or bathrooms, nothing. Must be beneath her. You want a clean facility. So disappointed.☹️

I placed my mom there several weeks ago and let me say this was not an easy decision but the staff and residents there made her transition seamless. She was welcomed by each director and several resident ambassadors. She raves about the food. There are tons of activities to keep them engaged. I cannot thank them enough for all they do!

We moved in when the pandemic was starting. The rooms are nice. We were unable to move our family member in and unable to be there for them when they moved in. So the people at the facility did it all. Once they were placed there I’ve never been allowed to go into his room the whole time they’ve been. Ive never meet but one nurse and haven’t meet anyone but the front desk ladies. For a person with dementia is hard and a Pandemic is worse. During this pandemic when they had a active case which was always their staff they would seclude the residents in their rooms for 14 days to the point that every time they were to get out it would start again for another case. This went on for 4 months straight where they were in their rooms with only food and medications were brought in. It’s crucial for people with dementia to be out and engaged. Other facilities in town did not stop their care as to working with them everyday. Nor did they stop having church services. Other places made accommodations to continue without seclusion. It seems that the facilities just got lazy when the pandemic happened. With nothing happening for almost a year for the amount of money they are charging they needed to find a way to continue in a safe manner. For all those months they spent sitting staring at walls they were still wanting their 5 thousand dollars!! The company sure has made a haul of income at the sacrifice of the residents. Also for a diabetic it’s important that a podiatrist sees them well when the pandemic happened the company stopped seeing residents and they didn’t get anyone back in for basically a year. If you’re looking for there to be a actual doctor to see your family they won’t see one here. The company makes you think that they come in but it’s just a APRN or PA that’s overseen by a MD. A MD hasn’t been in that facility. Also I have caught several mistakes that this medical group overlooked and never followed thru on. Also this medical group doesn’t know how to manage a diabetic. Very poor management of my family member when this wasn’t a problem when they were home. Also the facility never read my families papers that we filled out to know that we had left a piece of equipment that they used daily then they lost it basically accused me of not leaving it to wanting me to replace it. At this time when the Governor and regulators have lifted restrictions on visiting this place has not. They still come running to the door to stop you from crossing that threshold. You have to have a appointment Monday-Friday no weekend visits and if you get an appointment then you can only visit for 30 minutes. Now when you’re paying 5 thousand a month to them and other facilities are open without appointments and time limits is this going on here? Also after them sitting in a room with no activity for almost a year they went up in price and not just $20 either! It’s all their rules and they want their money to control and still keep families away! This makes no sense and we are moving out!

This community is beautiful. The spacious 2 bedroom is perfect for my mother and father. We toured on the weekend and there was still activities going on with plenty to do. Also the food there looks delicious. They will be moving in next month and we could not be more excited for them.

I would like to thank the staff and the management for their hard work and compassionate care of my mother. It is never easy to trust someone else to care for your loved ones. They try very hard to make my mother feel at home, make her smile, and tailor her experience to meet her specific needs. If we ever have a concern or problem and tell the staff and management team, they address are concerns or problems immediately. Thank you so much.

My mom has been in the memory care here for over a year. She is one of the more "with it" ladies in the memory part and the staff does a lot of special things for her to keep her active. I can't say enough good things about the staff! They have become like family. We moved her here from another facility where all they did was sit around- here they take them out of the building to lunch or on drives. They paint and exercise and there is always something going on when I stop in. She is much happier here than where we had her before.

This is the absolute worst. I have seen poop on the floor, residents not being fed that need help, always in front of the television, and never enough AIDS or help. I'm not there every day, what I've seen I don't want. Keep on looking elsewhere! Memory Care ...I went with friend to look for my father. Going to better care, and smelling better care facility. Best thing is to pop in unannounced. No appointment so can really see what Memory Care is. Not a " planned" visit. Offered cookies as snacks in snack basket. Nothing healthier for brain. Given cold ice water. These poor people already cold!! Looking someplace else. That cares. Gee...hot chocolate now and then might be inviting onUK a cold winter day...but I guess cheaper to give them ice water.

Morning Pointe of Lexington-East is a great place. It is brand new, and everything is just really nice. Everything is new and very clean. They are very upscale. There is a granite countertop in the bathroom. The common areas are decorated well. They look very nice. There is a really nice baby grand piano. The staff is very professional and very caring. I live four hours away, and I feel like if I cannot get there on time, they are really there, supportive, and taking care of my mother. They do some projects which I am really impressed with. They also bring in a lot of musicians which I think for the elderly is very important, and that helps my mom a lot. It is way above a lot of other places.

The staff at Morning Pointe of Lexington East was helpful. It was very clean, freshly decorated, and up-to-date. We weren't there that long because it didn't meet my father's needs as he's more independent. The rooms were small, refreshing, and handicap accessible. They felt very hotel-room-like, but they did a good job. The dining area was very open and right by the front door.

I visited Morning Pointe, and I was very impressed. That’s where I would have moved her had she lived. The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and empathetic. The rooms were very nice, spacious, and clean. The dining room was clean and spacious too. It’s very secured, fresh looking, and bright. They have crafts, bingo, and many activities.

My husband is currently at Morning Pointe. I like everything – the care, the food, the ambiance; just everything. The facility is wonderful. Their rooms are spacious.
